Stopped in at La Planchada tonight after an early movie, it was Taco Tuesday so we had a couple margaritas and a bunch of street tacos. The bartender/server was sweet, friendly and very efficient, will definitely be back. Great atmosphere. Hey y'all not to toot my horn but as one of the kitchen crew I completely love this place!All of our food is made fresh( only 1 canned item in the whole of the kitchen).Our specials are truly special due to the fact as a kitchen we decide what each week special shall be. we try to keep in mind as many food allergies as possible to accommodate so many of y'all taco freaks, from our vegetarian options to have a nut free kitchen.Also our dessert menu is expanding so come enjoy,relaxe and. This restaurant has more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. You order food and drinks at the bar and pick your seat. We had the loaded nachos, Queso and shrimp tacos - all so very good! It is clear it is counter service and we have been here several times. If you are expecting table service you will be disappointed but it is clear when you walk in the door the expectation. They have always delivered our food and checked on us. For the comments mentioned regarding tipping, it is a restaurant POS and it naturally has that included. Tip if you feel they deserve it, if not don't. Our experience has always been we have what we need and as someone in the industry sometimes it's nice to just sit and eat in peace. They are friendly if you need something and the food hits the spot. (Full disclosure I haven't met a taco I don't like) It's good I am a part timer in Prescott or this may just be my daily spot. This place is FANTASTIC! If you're a TRUE taco and tequila connoisseur, this is your place. We were in town for the weekend and decided to check it out. I ordered a tray of birria tacos and chips with chorizo queso. Both were delicious! The queso had the right amount of thickness with chunks of chorizo and the tacos were stuffed appropriately and cooked to perfection. I also had one of the best house Margaritas. The tequilas that you will find here are of the highest quality, think anejos and reposados such as Komos, Fortaleza, and Cincoro. Those who KNOW tequila can confirm that Fortaleza is next to nearly IMPOSSBILE to find ANYWHERE and La Planchada has it!!! Bartenders/Mixologist Jeff and Avalon are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to tequila. They introduced us to Corridos, which is now a new favorite of mine. LOVED the customer service, decor, and location. My only regret is not taking photos of the food and drink. My husband and I enhaled them so quickly, so I guess we'll have to make another trip up to Prescott. HIGHLY recommend this place. Hello Prescott peeps! Heres my review. This was my 1st visit. The atmosphere has a funky and hippy feel with good energy. Due to the music, color schemes on the walls, artwork and lighting. There are hightops as well as booths and lower tables. You can also sit outside and enjoy your meals with a great view of Thumbutte and down town. Great for a group of friends or just by yourself. Their selection is good. A nice variety of tacos and sides. As well as meals and chips and salsas. They also have some hotter slasas for those of us more adventurerous and loving heat as well as mild salsas. Check out my pics for what i ordered. I had their ice tea. Side of spanish rice. Side of whole black beans. I also ordered 2 of the pabalono veggie tacos, 2 Portobello mushroom tacos for taco tuesday, the pico slasa, the roasted green salsa and a side of hot sauce. Everything tasted wonderful and looked amazing! Incredible flavor for everything! Yum There yah go! Check them out for yourself!

Honestly the best nachos we've ever had. The carne asada taco was on point and the jalepeno infused tequila cocktails were amazing. Great bar and cook staff. Stopped by today and ordered 1 taco, cheese crisp and chips and salsa. The food was very good, but it took almost 30 mins to get the food. I hate giving low rated reviews but after looking forward to this place and hearing so many good things about it I must say I was disappointed. Yeah, I'm going with "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed." The ambiance is good, music is good. Did not try the cocktails but they seem to have a great selection of adult beverages service was good For the not so good. Same topping for all the tacos. One topping does not fit all. Fish tacos - mushy, bland Asada tacos - bland Chicken tacos - bland Al pastor - took one bite, stopped there Guacamole - too tart Overall for a modern take on food or fusion style, if that's what they are going for, they failed to fuse old world flavors to new style. Unfortunately, La Planchada missed the mark and it was underwhelming. There are better places in town for this type of food. I'm sorry guys, I hate to give this review, but just my honest experience.
