I love the biggest of the alcapurria, flavor was good, ajonjoli juice was good, not my favorite but just a personal choice, the juice was good and natural. The people where attentive and kind, it's a kiosko so you park in the side and buy. They also have little tables in the side. I will go again.

Was expecting alcapurrias made of green plantain not yuca (casava) The Real alcapurrias are of plantain. Yes the 12' ones are huge. Too fat and too soggy. Then I ordered the small ones to be made at the moment and when I get them out of the bags were what we call in Spanish GOMOSA in english gummy. Which meant it was not done at the moment. It were the ones that were at the window. Prices were excellent $5 12' and the small one $2 of meat and $3 crab meat

Seen this place on Instagram and made it my business to get there while in Puerto Rico. We didn't make it early enough to get the 12 incher. we got there 30mins before closing and got the regular sized ones. I was disappointed I couldn't get the long one but I definitely did not leave without trying the regular sized alcapurria. I can't say enough how yummy and good they were. I mean the amount of meat inside was unbelievable. It's incredibly stuffed. Cooked perfectly. The ones I get in Brooklyn,N.Y. can't even compare. The flavor was so authentic. I even bought more to bring home. Yes my friends I have travelled back to New York with 3! You should definitely make it your business to stop by this place and pick up a snack. They also carry empanadas with many different fillings. Price is very reasonable. I wish I took a photo of it but I was living in the moment and enjoying the flavors.
