I had a worst experience at this restaurant during takeout. I need to inform this with photos so that no one else get cheated like me. When I called to order just one shrimp fajitas during lunch time at 1:45 pm, they did not indicate me that there is lunch fajitas..they took the order for dinner price..I was not aware of this and when I went to pay they took the amount for dinner fajitas but gave me the portion size of lunch fajitas. I attached the picture of fajitas size. One can easily say that the size of the fajitas is lunch portion size but they charged me dinner size which is more than 20 bucks..they have around $6 difference between lunch and dinner size in fajitas..they clearly cheated me..when you call for lunch..ask them lunch size otherwise they will charge you for dinner size but provide very small amount of food which is provided at all times during lunch. Disappointed at the employees working here. Not going to this restaurant next time. My $6 dollars down the drain. Worst experience. We’ve always have great food and service here. We literally come here 2-3 times a month. The chips and salsa are really good, especially with the refried bean dip. Homemade warm chips and salsa to start out everything in a great way. We ordered seafood chimichangas and the la costa supreme burrito. Both meals were great tasting and flavorful. This is one of our favorite places to visit...always good food. This particular visit was especially enjoyable because of the incredible service we received from Isabel! She was honestly AWESOME in every way. Isabel was kind, courteous, and provided excellent service, but she was also a true delight to visit with. Came in for a date with the wife. I've been here before but it's been like 10 years. Not very busy for a Friday evening at 5:00. The place was clean and presentable and so were the bathrooms. The chips and salsa were great and of course, went through 1.5 baskets waiting. And we didn't have to wait long. I like to try the chicken chimichanga at new places. I got the two item combo for only $1.50 more than the one item. So not sure they were this small because it's normally that way or it's the two item. Either way, the chimi was delicious. The chicken was juicy and seasoned right. The refried beans were pretty good and the rice was very good. The wife got Sopes. She felt the tortillas were a bit undercooked but maybe that's how they always are? Otherwise her food was delicious and the pork cooked well. We loved coming here and would love to visit again. Service was so quick! Our server was so nice and took care of us and made sure our drinks were always full. I’d recommend La Costa to everyone! I got the 3 combo and it was soooooo good! This place never disappoints. From the atmosphere being inviting yet private to the servers. The food is always amazing. Last time, I got the sunrise or egg enchilada. It was delicious!! This is a quality place to eat. I've eaten here many times over the years, and each time been pleasantly surprised. Today was no different. I ordered the tampiquena with steak, and it was delicious. My wife laughed at me when I grinned and clapped my hands with the arrival of my food. Yum! Wife was pleased with her flautas as well. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the valley. It’s a quiet restaurant with beautiful decor, paintings, and pleasant music. Very clean. The servers were so attentive and kind. The chips were still hot, the bean dip was delicious, and the salsa was not too spicy (it was almost sweet). We went in at 5PM on Tuesday. The carne asada 8-ounce was lean, filling, and worth every penny. The flan was super good and I really pigged out on that. I go here about every 3 months and this was the best it’s ever tasted.
