Michelin restaurant in an unexpected place. The restaurant is an average looking place from the outside, located on a busy street corner. The staff is friendly. The food is tasty. The portions are quite big. We had Curry dish and easily shared it. The beer was good as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Glad I put some effort looking for a nice place for our diner, we found a GREAT place, with tasty original food, pleasing both the eyes and the mouth! With a flight of appetizers and a fabulous main to share, we still had to satisfy our curiosity with a couple desserts. A very nice experience! This place is surrounded by very “tourist trap” vibe spots, but it turned out to be quite fantastic. We shared various dishes and one was better than the last. Quite a good beer selection too. We got the calamari, takoyaki, and a noodle dish. All were excellent. The prices were fair and the staff was helpful and attentive. This is a definite repeat next time. Delicious meal in Kuya last night, our waiter’s attention to detail was incredible (not sure of his name, long dark hair). Saw a lot of good ratings, so we tried Kuya out. Food is okay, but nothing to write home about. Some staff members were so friendly except for one lady, who didn't want to answer our questions about how the main courses were structured. We wanted to adjust the order based on the portions, but she didn't want to explain clearly. If you are a first-time visitor to this restaurant, you will not know how the main courses are structured. 5/5 We took just starters: gyoza, bao buns and sticky rice with mango for dessert. Food was fresh, tasty and right amount of portions. They offer wide variety of beers. Service was fast and staff is nice. I recommend the place and will return for main dishes. Prices are also reasonable. One of my favourite places to visit here in Malta. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the combination of all the different textures and flavours will leave you with a big smile on your face. You will not be disappointed! We ordered calamari and chicken karaage for the starters and both were really delicious. For the main course, we ordered baby back ribs and bang bang chicken. The baby back ribs was dry but the taste was still good. The bang bang chicken was okay but the portion was quite small. The drinks are just normal i.e., just drinks that you can buy outside. The ambiance was really good but the music is not appropriate to the vibe of the place. The staff are really accommodating and kind. Despite having a lot of customers, they are still cheerful.
