Can’t say enough good things about this incredible bakery! The pastries and scones especially are easily the best I’ve had, anywhere. Love that there is always something new to try. Go early for the best selection, but you really can’t make a wrong choice here!

Drove 3hrs to try them. Didn't disappoint. Just have to be early because they sell out pretty quickly. "Kougin Amann" the best seller. Fig, Prosciutto Goat cheese was also delicious. Will definitely recommend.

Chelsea is AMAZING! She worked with me to create the birthday cakes of my dreams. The flavor combinations I suggested were brought to life in the most beautiful, delicious of ways…guests raved about the cakes! I couldn’t be happier with either the experience of working with Chelsea or the final products. If you are looking for exceptional quality, unique flavors, and true pastry artistry, Kouign is the place to go. *edited to add cake flavors: pistachio cake with apricot compote and lemon camomile buttercream and chocolate cake with black sesame custard and tahini buttercream. Unreal!

I don't know how I haven't reviewed before today! Kouign is absolutely phenomenal. It's a bit out of the way for me (25 minute drive) but I have never regretted making the trip. It's impossible to get a bad pastry here, but I specifically recommend her chocolate chip cookies. I promise you've never had one quite like it. Weekends can sell out pretty quickly, so make sure you check Instagram for updates!

This was my first visit to Kouign Bakery and oh my, absolutely amazing! The selection is very unique and every item seems to have its own special twist. The sandwich in the photo is the bacon, egg and cheese on a pepper Asiago biscuit. This is a serious breakfast sandwich and will not disappoint!

I had never heard of a "kouign" before discovering this place. After moving to the area, it was so nice to find such a friendly, delicious local bakery. The workers are so kind and helpful, and if you call ahead and they have enough stock, they will set aside kouigns for you. The guava and cheese croissant is my absolute favorite. My husband and I love going here and discovering what new items they create. An absolute delight!

The first thing I noticed walking to the door was the amazing smell. Ended up buying a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed. I don’t know if the blondie, cinnamon roll, or one of the best croissants I’ve had in a while were my favorite. So happy a place like this is in Wallingford!
