Cool air-conditioned coffee shop and restaurant. They make their own Kaya and bake their own bread. The owner takes great pride in his coffee and tea making prowess, and it shows with great strong flavorful local coffee and strong rich tea. We tried the nasi lemak, chicken curry, curry fish balls, curry puff (I like curry…), fried mee hoon, Kaya butter toast, cheesy toast and soft boiled eggs. Normally, the more things a restaurant offers, the more average the food becomes, but this was not the case here. Surprisingly, for a place that offers such variety, everything was good. Great coffee and food… well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch while in KK. A cozy cafe tuck in neighborhood. You can get traditional Hainanese coffee or arabica coffee either in black or white. Seats are available for indoor and outdoor and it’s limited. If you are going in big group (5 and above), it’s better to call for reservation in advance. Their food selection is limited but for me, it’s on point because it suits for small appetite like me and they also have mains for those who wants to fill up more for tummy. Credit card not accepted. They only accept cash and E-wallet. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 20–40 Recommended dishes Sandwich

Came here to enjoy Sunday tea but it was unpleasant visit. The foods were pricey and tbh not worth the price, foods wasn't up to my expectations. The hainanese kopi was really disappointing, I had high expectation towards the kopi cos the name was "Kopiboy". The onsen sandwich was just so-so just a lil bit more black pepper will do the magic. And about the tonkatsu rice, the rice was abit too soft and only serve with one slice of tamago and soy sauce on the side. Then we found a hair underneath the pork chop in between the rice and cabbage salad, so we returned it to a lady at the counter but she say nothing and doesn't seems to feel sorry for the carelessness and not to mention the bad service, when we order it almost feel like we owed her that we had to dine in, no greeting and only asked "anything else?" for couple of times and we weren't being indecisive at all to pick out the food. Ok so continue to the rice with the hair, they replace with the new whole set and there was a guy sending the food also showing 0 warmness and nothing to be mention for the mistake they made. It made me wonder if the workers are tired of this business and hate when we customer came in to eat. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40
A modern day kopitiam shop located at the corner of a narrow neighborhood. This inconspicuous shop is great for "kopi-kopi" (hanging out) with your friends. You can choose to sit comfortably inside or enjoy the mini garden outside. They offer a variety of food and drinks to choose from but their soft boiled egg with kaya & butter toast set is a winner! XD I enjoyed their thick & fragrant coffee even though I'm not a regular coffee drinker. The price is above average. eWallet payment is accepted here. The service is good and the toilet is clean. Note that the place can be crowded in the afternoon and parking space will be difficult to find. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This tiny shop is halmarks a pleasant new wave of youth culture into the aged part of the local neighbourhood. The handsome boys working at the front look really focused and passionate about the craft of bread toasting and coffee mixing. Food is simple and alright for home cooking. At the price that they are charging, I expected iced beverage served in a glass, the toast to have accents of charcoal smoke, the meat sliced evenly, vegetables to be chopped neatly and food to be served quicker. Maybe they will get better as they gain more experience. Toilet is clean. Expect to struggle for a parking spot nearby.

My go-to coffee place. Reasonable price with superb taste and aroma. Simple yet tasty food menu choices. MUST try their self-made bread! Personally, I liked their toasted peanut and hainan chicken curry rice. Their sando is superb too! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Been wanting to visit this cafe for the longest time! The kaya toast was lowkey mediocre. The hainanese Kopi susu (rm6) was so-so. The ambience is really nice. It's v quaint, serene & soothing. I think they're going for the old school Kopitiam meets modern cafe vibe haha. Friendly Staffs & speedy service, got a/c indoors~ Prices are affordable too! Would visit again! Spent rm70++ on breakfast, sadly water is not complimentary. Overall atmosphere is okay. Food is abit pricey given the small size portion and there's always room for improvement on your service. Didn't serve our toast together and realize nobody in kitchen is preparing the 2nd toast cos can tell kitchen is all quiet. 😅. To my disappointment Kopi boy only looks aesthetically pleasing. To think for the price that we are paying for the food, we'd get something out of the ordinary....But to our let down, food and coffee was below average / subpart. Service was also poor as our order took awhile to come out and to add to that, they also forgot one of our orders (chicken tonkatsu sandwich). When asked about that order, the cashier girl got annoyed and gave me a "face" before looking into it. So to top it all off, it took them a good 45mins to get our order complete... And mind you, it was not pack at all. To be honest RM70++ (breakfast for 2) is a wee bit too expensive for me for this type of mediocre and small portion meal. Pricey would be an understatement to describe it... Lesson learnt from this visit, don't think will come again tbh.... But if you're into those "Instagramable" eateries, this might be the place for you, other than that... Nothing to shout about and can get "rational priced" meals elsewhere.
