The decor is pretty and it's clearly a popular as the restaurant as it's always busy (lunch time and dinner time). The staff are friendly and there are two cute puppies roaming around and they get a lot of love and attention. From the restaurant you get beach and sea views, although you aren't shielded from the elements of it decides to rain sideways, which it did for us one one occasion. Food: the tacos and papaya salad were nice but the portions were too small for the amount they charge. We also tried the tuna tataki which was better in portion size, really good and very tasty. Overall, it's a nice restaurant but really quite expensive compared to other places around. We had a group of 6 and we really enjoyed the food here. It's right on the sea and the location is great. The menu is different to most others in Tangalle which is a welcomed change. I am a tour guide and every time i come here with the group. Happy and smiling staff , best seafood in Sri Lanka and really good atmosphere. Everyone who wants to relax their mind and fill their belly with good food please come here

KOKOMOS has it all. Great food, kind staff, and a lovely view right at the beach. We had the Mowgli bowel and the lemongrass steamed fish, and I couldn’t tell which is better because both were amazing! Plus, the watermelon juice we had was the best we had in all of Sri Lanka. Make sure to come early enough, because in the evening it might get hard to get a table. Damn it, it’s soo good. Everything is perfect - food is fresh, delicious, with a huge variety of tastes. We tried different salads and main dishes (fish tacos, basil chicken, fish with lemongrass), drinks and juices and there was no weak point. Service very helpful, friendly, kind but not intrusive - exactly as you would the service to be. The place is very clean, you can see the cooks preparing your food live. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE. Absolute gem of a restaurant. Top class. My wife and I ordered the seafood platter (for 2), which came with a variety of delicious crabs, octopus, fish, vegetables and potatoes. Really friendly staff and great food. It's not traditional Sri Lankan food, but tasty options cooked really well in an open kitchen, and the guys are clearly very into hygiene.
