Really suprised by the quality of the food! Polite service, the menu has english translation and the location is fantastic. For sure I'll come back here! We visited Komarno last week for an event and our accommodation host recommended we try out Klapka restaurant - the food was delicious and the portion sizes were great! We were so impressed we returned the day after for another amazing meal! Special shout-out to our waitress who provided us with the politest and nicest service we’ve received in a really long time. We visited looking for a quick dinner after a long drive, and were blown away by the quality of the food as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! Would HIGHLY recommend trying the Bean or Chicken soups and the sheep cheese dumplings! Balint, our server, made our time at Klapka special. He recommended the Backstrap deer, the pig steak, the duck with whisky blueberry sauce and we finished we wonderful walnut pastry and chocolate torte dessert. The wine was a great Hungarian Cab Franc, Merlot, Syrah blend that was the best. Overall this was the best meal our group of four had in Austria, Hungary and Slovakia - this whole trip. Finally a good restaurant in the middle of the town, best location, amazing outside area. Friendly waiters, and we had a great experience. Delicious food, it was little bit salty all of our dishes however nice looking and quality foods. Summer time you better reserve a table, it is always full during weekends.
