A realy nice place with many emblems of North Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Honest, well seasoned (really good beef keema) and perfectly satisfy your hunger. And the roti is one of the best I've ever eaten.
But it's a bit strange why there are so few customers here in the evenings, this place should be crowded.

Delicious halal Indian food. It's just a little expensive. Order cheese egg bread, cheese garlic naan, 2 Teh Tarik, 2 small plates of goat curry, 1 small plate of pickles costs 71RM
But it's okey because the taste is delicious😁✌️

A nice 'local neighbourhood hangout' kind of place. Quite chill atmosphere. A place you could have breakfast and chat with a hot or cold drink to be sipped throughout the conversation and realise it was time for lunch and dine and repeat for dinner time. Basically, they have a menu with large variety of different kinds of food.
The drinks are a little weak, or diluted. I forgot to let them know to ease off the sweetness for the teh tarik but the was no need. It wasn't unnecessarily sweet.
Mango lassi was, as the drinker explained, like Calpis but mango flavour. I had a taste and I don't know which version is more authentic to the motherland (India), but the ones I've ever had, in Sydney, was thick like a milkshake and you can taste simultaneously the mango and the yogurt. The one here was more like mango skim milk.
But the food more than redeemed the lacklustre drinks. Beriyani rice was full-flavoured and fragrant, tandoori chicken was the same, the curries were tasty and were actually spicy, and the cheese naan was excellent.
You'll have to enjoy it hot, though. Because then the cheese would still be stringy or sticky. And that tastes better. But after a while, even though the bread was still warm, the cheese lost its 'stringiness'. But it was still good.
This is a place I'd visit often because of the many items on the menu I've yet to try, which I am confident are good.👍🏼

Walked all the way from Imperial hotel (3-4 blocks away). Busy place in the morning. Ordered two roti telur bawang and cheese nan (100% if you love cheese!) The curry was also nice.
Very cheap place for breakfast. Will come here again someday. Highly recommended

We always come to Khan Islamic Restaurant for lunch if we crave for north Indian and Pakistani food. They serve different type of roti canai, cheese naan and also nasi briyani. Ayam goreng is very good, I like the fish curry as well. Not too mention the staffs here are very friendly and helpful even joke with us sometimes. Cleanliness is also up to standard. 100% recommended .

Butter Chicken and Butter Naan
Kept it simple here for lunch and just had a few roti with dhal tadka and the Mrs took a martaba. It was so nice that shortly after we were ordering more food, garlic naan and brinjal aloo curry. All food was lovely and freshly prepared.
We enjoyed dinner here recently and the staff were friendly. Service was good and timely. Mango lassis are so good we had 2 each. The cheese naan, butter chicken and vegetable curry were all delicious and there was a generous enough serving to take leftovers home.

So so good!! Okay, let me digest it for you all. Read some reviews and came to try. Ordered teh tarik, cheese naan and butter chicken. The place is clean overall but really recomended to sit outside. Teh tarik came first, it smells and taste good. A bit like goat milk but i cant say. Cheese naan and butter chicken came right after. It took less than 10mins for all dishes to be served. Cheese naan is okay, not super but average. However topped with butter chicken it tasted fantastic. I would definitely go for second. Briyani was good according to the waitress but i only had one stomach. Shall come again next time. Give it a go guys!!
I chose the Tarik without sugar and it tasted surprisingly good. And butter chicken, roti with egg, cheese naan and garlic naan are all tasty. Shouldn't miss them when you are in Miri.
