Updated Review 2024: We really enjoy Kelly's. The staff are always very nice and super helpful and attentive. The food is always consistent regardless of what you order. We just found out recently that some of the dishes are available in half sizes for those of you that eat lighter. This time I got the Pork Tenderloin sandwich (which I am now addicted to) and my wife got 1/2 order of brisket chips. They also have a very large rotating selection of draft beer and a very nice whiskey selection in all price ranges, so if you're feeling adventurous, you should ask the bartenders for help choosing. We come pretty regularly and it's nice to see the same faces working there. Good regular spot or something new to try if you haven't. I had high expectations since it’s always packed and has raving reviews, but to be honest it fell short. Most the times we’ve gone it has always been too crowded where it was a 2 plus hour wait. Today we got a table and it wasn’t that bad, there were many open tables. It took about 15 minutes before anyone came to us for drinks and throughout the night it was hard to find our waitress. She seemed busy and overwhelmed but that shouldn’t be an issue to us. The hamburger sliders were maybe a 5/10 and tasted mushy inside. The brisket fries/chips were really good and the fried pickles were mediocre. So for my first experience here overall it fell short and was subpar. I don’t know if I’d be back as nothing was great and there’s other places in the area that are far better to me. Great atmosphere, 80s tunes! Can watch the games if that is what you are into! Full bar and great food! Emily was our server, she said she was new but she was excellent! Attentive, personable and efficient, overall great experience! I had “the real”, I also tasted hubs chicken fried steak and it also good, gravy was so yummy just like Mom’s. Wanted to go somewhere with a good beer selection and food. Decided to try Kelly's out, on a Sunday for a late lunch. When we arrived were able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was awesome and she took great care of us and was very attentive, I didn't have a chance to get her name, would have liked to credit her here. I liked the selection of beers that they had as some of the beers I have not seen at other places. For food we ordered fried mushrooms, the brisket stuffed jalapenos, chili, grilled chicken club and brisket hash. Everything we ordered tasted great. I liked the brisket jalapenos, it had a good amount of heat! The brisket hash was HUGE! It was a mound of potatoes with brisket topped with 2 eggs. I'll definitely be back when looking for somewhere with a good beer selection and good food and excellent service. The usual pub fare, Texas style. All your favorites are on the menu, along with lots of queso, and it's all delicious. Loads of screens around the inside and outside seating areas. Outside has fans and misters. Service was prompt and friendly. What brought me here was the great beer selection that wasn't the boring lagers found everywhere else, along with having some local brews. 🍻 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was ok. The wings for what I had was the best. However the fried ribs for me was a no go. They did not have much flavor apart from the plastic that was still holding the ribs together. However our waitress was awesome. She made fun of it and took care of the issues supper fast. She made sure that the manager came over to make sure all was taken care of. And when the tick came She was still making fun of the plastic. The drinks However were very good. I have been back since and will go again, moreso for the drinks!!! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I would highly recommend visiting Kelly’s at the Village Craft Tavern if you’re in the mood for great draft beer and mouthwatering fried chicken, Loved the basil tinge in fried chicken. Hats off to chef. It’s a perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a satisfying meal with your loved ones. Mason served us, he is an awesome host. Thanks! Cannot say enough about my favorite bar and restaurant in the DFW area. A swanky and delightfully decorated restaurant and bar . I have travelled all over the USA and the world and this place is second to none . Where do I start from : 1) The atmosphere is always lively, full of all sorts of customers , sports TV screens all over, you can sit on the bar, enjoying a huge selection of local and national beers and bourbons ( more than 40 bourbon options 👍👍) including Texas craft bourbons and beers and vodkas. 2) the Food is fantastic and consistent. Friendly experienced staff, which is a plus these days. Kudos to the owner and management for taking care of the staff 3) The Food: You cannot go wrong , from great burgers ( my favorite) and steaks to salads to chicken fried steaks or Salmon to Quesadillas. It is great quality meats and ingredients. The chefs must be very carefully selected and maintained. 4) The fire pit and patio : a place to chill and enjoy the outdoors and you can also smoke a cigar there , which Is a great option for me once in a while. 7/9/22: Blake was our host and he was great. We seated ourselves, and there was a nice bar area and a nice patio area. We had the brisket potato chips and a chicken club. The draft beer was cold, and she had a couple of GIT L.I.T. Blake was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. He made our first visit here very pleasant. We would certainly come back.
