It was our birthday dinner date night, service was on point! The food was so unique - we could enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients. Pretty much everything on the menu sounds not familiar at all so you don’t know until you try them, and they’re all delicious! We were all happy and left the Kai, headed to the front door. Our car was already parked outside before we talked to the valet, and they left a handwritten thank you and congratulations card and a little gift in our car. So thoughtful! It’s high-end-classic dinner so it’s not we could do once a month but I’d love to come back sometime in the future.

This restaurant is absolutely deserving of every accolade it has ever received. The food, the service, the ambiance - all top notch. Portions and pace of meal were spot on. Our servers were so attentive and very informative of the food they were serving. Such a unique experience and served in such a unique way. Highly recommend.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday here while we were in town for a business conference. Their awards were why we booked and boy, did they live up to the hype. Our waitstaff “team” were attentive and incredibly knowledgeable regarding the dishes offered, as well as the local history and Native American influence. The food and its presentation were excellent. To top off the delightful experience, my husband was given a small gift in celebration of his birthday.
An excellent option in the greater Phoenix area. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Visited Kai on 02/10/24 for an early Galentine’s Day dinner. I have some dietary restrictions (lactose intolerance) and was contacted by the restaurant a few days prior to our reservation to confirm.
Dylan and the entire staff made sure our experience was unforgettable. Even with my restrictions, I didn’t feel like I missed out on any part of the menu. I always appreciate it when a restaurant can make accommodations without making a big deal out of it.
My girlfriends and I spent approximately 4 hours on our culinary experience between pre-meal cocktails, the 5 course experience, and plenty of chatting and laughing.
Highly recommended for an elegant evening and for those who want to try unique menu offerings that you won’t find anywhere else.

My husband brought me here for my birthday last night and it was such a special treat. From the time we arrived to us actually driving home, everything was perfect. When we arrived, the hostesses took the valet pass and ensured our car would be ready and waiting when we were done. We were immediately escorted to our tables where our chairs were pulled for us and napkins folded and laid on our laps. We were given a thorough history lesson on tribal artwork, food, culture, and how it is expressed throughout the restaurant and dining experience. The menu itself takes you on its own journey, and a very special one at that.
Everything we ate was delicious, beautiful, unique, and inspiring. The quail and foie gras were exceptionally outstanding and really made an impression on my husband and I. When it came time for dessert, earlier in the evening I mentioned I couldn't choose, that they all sounded so good... they ended up bringing us all 3 desserts to try and they were all so excellent. I feel I could go on and on- even the off menu cocktail suggestions were fantastic. I was recommended this Bourbon infused date and matcha cocktail but I was apprehensive because Bourbon is not usually something I go for. I agreed to try it, all their recommendations had already been so fantastic, and im so glad I did. It was such a creamy and delicious cocktail! It made a huge impression on me and I'm really glad they suggested this as a dessert pairing.
I keep talking about the food, but the ambiance really elevated the experience to the next level as well- tables were spacious and not packed in, you could freely move about the restaurant if you needed to, and it made everything feel more intimate. The fact the tables had so much space between them really gave you the feeling you were almost there all by yourself and you certainly didn't have to worry about listening in on another tables conversation. The music was very tranquil and it made us feel like we were in a spa. It was also quiet enough where you could have easy conversation and not have to worry about shouting over music or a loud crowd.
After we paid our bill and thought the night was complete, we get in the car and there was a giftbag waiting with a candle inside. It really just put the cherry on top to an already wonderful night and my husband and I are already trying to plan our next visit.

Extraordinary feasting experience. From the help to food we appreciated everything. We didn't coordinate with wine so all things considered we attempted four mixed drinks that were arranged fabulously. Once more, generally speaking the experience was astonishing and would return.
