I enjoyed this place a lot and ordered good local food with nice local drinks.
I ordered the local schnitzel, shopska salad and the local beer. The food was very well done and having salad on a side was a good idea. I ordered the local bread, which was very tasty and fresh. Happily, I managed to eat all the food.
This place is one of the rarest good restaurants accepting card payment. The prices might seem a bit high, but you will still enjoy the atmosphere and the food.
The waiter was friendly and supportive. I ordered two shots of rakija (pear and honey). He advised me to taste apricot rakija too. I tried that one as well. I would say that pear and honey were better, but apricot is much stronger.
Overall. I spent here quite much time and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Seriously guys. The best food I have had in Nis and probably one of the top 3 best restaurants in all of Serbia. Don't miss out. The Emperor's Skewers. Pork wraped wih bacon. Moist, tender, succulent. Not normally a fan of pork but this was a different level. Also had Meze Bomb. 3 fried cheese balls with difference types of cheese stuffings. Of course they had to include bacon in it! Give's it a fantastic taste. Could not resist the dessert. Soft, rich. Dangerously good. As you can see I went all out on this meal.

People tend to pay most attention to the food they eat, but they also should also pay attention to the service on the floor and even the maintenance of the window glass and the bathroom. The place is likely to get damaged and dirty every day due to the many operations and many customers visiting, which is just as well. I now understood why this restaurant has been so popular in Nis for so many years. The service of the waiters and the maintenance of the ladies contribute to the attractiveness of the restaurant.
As one of the people engaged in a culinary business, the quality of their service quality should be highly appreciated. You can't help admiring their ingenuity and contribution.
Obviously, the food was quite lovely. Particularly impressive was the Bosnian/ Serbian dessert, called 'Tufahije'. This traditional dessert is quite something. This is one of those rare restaurants that I think about going back to.

The food was fabulous- I have never tasted such delicious and authentic Serbian food… the atmosphere was so nice- everything was perfectly picked and was very clean and nice. The service was so slow that is my recommendation to them - to be faster and a little bit kinder.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, offering excellent recommendations for traditional Serbian dishes and beverages. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant and authentic.
Overall, I had an excellent culinary experience at this traditional Serbian restaurant and I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their delicious dishes.

Nice location with good food. Overall the experience was great but everything went downhill when they brought the bill. It was 30% more expensive then the english menu for each dish. When I've chalanged it, the waiter has excused himself that he forgot to let us know that the english menu is an old print and the corect prices are in serbian menu which they did not provide. I took the serbian menu and the prices on the bill were identical. Still this just ruined the whole experience.

Amazing!! Don’t miss this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fast and waiters are nice and helpful. The place has special Serbian atmosphere.
My recommendation are smoked sausages.
Prices are good compared to the portion.
