Came to Abbeville, 30 minutes away from home, to eat at Village Grill. Treated rudely, anyway, Googled this place and was not disappointed. I got salmon stuffed, more like covered, with artichoke sauce. Omg it was delicious! I could have ate double what they sent out! Shrimp on top was delicious! My fried okra was a little too salty for my taste, but I ate every bit! Waitress and staff were super nice! And the atmosphere is just perfect for a romantic date night! The JP restaurant is located directly behind the Belmont hotel check in desk. We had a little extra wait for the food, but the food was fabulous. Each of the waiters & waitresses were delightful. My wife & I will come again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A VERY friendly place, in a Historic Hotel (Belmont Inn in Abbeville, SC) to enjoy great 'home cooked' Southern cooking. Excellent atmosphere with lovely 'Southern' hospitality. Everyone was so nice. Thank you

Take your time, sit down and relax. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but the hamburger steak is especially phenomenal. Looking forward to coming again. Service Dine in
