Finally visited Jo's Bakery at Tropicana Avenue for breakfast recently as it was highly recommended. The breakfast menu is really interesting, they have a mix and match breakfast where you can choose what you want you like. Mine was chicken sausages, sauteed mushrooms and scrambled eggs. And black coffee of course! Their cheese cakes are a must-try. I’ve tried some but they have such a wide range I’ll have to visit them again soon 😅 especially their Durian Cheese cake. The vibe of the place is really cozy and the staff is so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot, I highly recommend Jo's Bakery at Tropicana Avenue. The mix and match breakfast with their amazing cheese cakes is a combination that can't be beaten! Address : P-G-22, Tropicana Avenue, 12, Persiaran Tropicana, 47410 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Opening Hours : Saturday 8 am–6 pm Sunday 8 am–6 pm Monday Closed Tuesday 8 am–6 pm Wednesday 8 am–6 pm Thursday 8 am–6 pm Friday 8 am–6 pm

Scrumptious scones especially the earl grey one! Love my long black. Latte was too milky. Mushroom pasta was so-so, very bland and dry. 😅 will revisit again for coffee and try their cake 🍰
a quaint little neighborhood cake shop! even whilst being short-staffed the service here is exceptional and the food quality/variety here is nice. I especially enjoyed the Iced Matcha Latte and the Banana Loaf! Hope to come back again and see this store grow
Lovely bakery On my first visit to Jo's Bakery in Tropicana Avenue, I wondered to myself if I made a wise decision when not many people were seen inside the premise. Since we were there and wanted some desserts, I took the chance and went in anyway. The display counter was filled with delicacies - from our local Roti Paung (Terengganu origin) to various types of scones; and pound cake to brownies. Cakes by slices are also available. ◾lime avocado cheesecake - interesting combo not usually found anywhere. ◾pandan coconut cheesecake - cheesecake with local twist that tasted nice. ◾brownie - dusted sugar on top of the chocolate galore.. for those who love sweet. ◾Drinks - cold brew tea in the form of osmanthus yuzu; and coffee ie. Black + iced latte. Lovely bakery-cum-cafe that is perfect for afternoon tea.

The worse ever sourdough and mushroom soup I ever had! The whole meal cost 45 ringgit but taste so awful! The mushroom soup is so peppery and bitter taste after and sourdough is so hard that is like biting a pebbles. The service needless to say is like talking to air and have no respond. Eventually we only taste a small spoon of soup and 1 small bite of sourdough.

Randomly walk into a nearby cake shop after my physiotherapy session and surprised by the cheesecake. It is cheesy but it is not on the heavy side. I don’t feel sick of it even I finish the whole piece by myself. The environment is not bad too and it will a good choice if you want to get some work done.
First time trying the cheese cake here and we ordered a whole gula melaka cendol. It was pretty good:)) Basically their cream cheese is mixed with cendol and gula melaka with a good blend of sweetness and the texture of the cendol was there. Note that the cheesecake starts 'melting/sweating' that tend to look bit soft after removing from the fridge for awhile so depends on u but recommended to eat pretty immediately after u take it out from the fridge unless u prefer it softer Also, their mini scones were really small for that price hahahah

So happy and glad that I found homemade scones here. Loved it. They have variety of cakes too! I’ll definitely come back to try again. Ambience is nice, cozy and quiet with some light background music. Price wise is pretty standard for a café. The scones I had was RM9.50/set of two, and coffee was RM8. Cakes ranging from RM13 onwards. Their coffee is from the Nespresso capsules perhaps their teas selection would be better, will try that next visit :)
