Chicken floss tau sar kok used to be so good. You can eat 5 pcs (1pkt) at one time and 1 pkt is never enough. I just ate 1 pcs yesterday and sadly, the taste is not good at all, can hardly see the chicken floss, almost tasteless and not fresh. Pastry was not baked properly. Not what it used to be. Now I have a few pkts left with no one touching it. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I walked in to buy the tau sar piah (TSP) and other snacks. I must say I am very pleased with my purchases. - the own baked TSP is really good. Different from the famous Penang ones as they are crunchy and sweeter. My 36-biji box disappeared within a day. - the curly twist was also good. Luckily it wasn’t too sweet. My childhood weakness. - The coconut biscuit was reasonably priced (vs Tan Kim Hock’s expensive coconut biscuits) and tasted very good. Crunchy, not so sweet and no “oily” trace. - the chili sauce is very spicy but good. The only thing we didn’t like was the hat biscuit. The chicken floss puff was average. Will definitely be back to buy more TSP when I visit Melaka next

We like the chicken floss tou sar kok, used to be very good but after Covid, ingredients are lesser and the taste has changed , not good anymore. However price has gone up in 2023 . We still support them anywhere. keep it up !

Whenever I visit Malacca, this will be the store to buy fresh, good quality old school traditional tau sar biscuits (mung bean paste filling) and beh teh soh biscuits (flaky pastry filled with gooey sweet and savory filling). Will try other varieties next time. Definitely nicer than the mass produced, long expiry commercialized biscuits that shortchanged on quality filling and pastry.

Got some chicken floss tausar kok from here to try after getting some from the shop a few doors away. The pastry is too dry and brittle and filling compacted. Photo shows the one from here at top and other one at bottom.

Underrated tau sah pia pastry in melaka. Somehow comparable with the ones in Penang. Highly recommended for their 小龙珠饼 mini tap sah pia whenever you visit melaka. Do make a call for reservation in advance if you’re buying in quantities. Definitely worth trying it out. 👍🏻🤤

The guy who takes order might have certain vision disability as he cannot recognise who comes first and keep allowing uneducated customers to cut queue. Overall, horrible purchase experience :(
