The lunch menu was good, our first visit earlier this week we were excited to try their breakfast but apparently were just late to order. We returned several days later 30 minutes before the menu stated time to end breakfast to find we apparently do not know the secret handshake to actually order as the server looked arbitrarily at the clock and told us that today their menu is merely a suggestion (while delivering breakfast to other tables) and that breakfast ordering ended seconds before she arrived to our table. Then suggested we return this weekend when perhaps they may decide to allow breakfast to be ordered. Will not visit again Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is one of those institutions of the neighborhood. Servers were very friendly and food was ok. But it took 40 minutes to get our food. With no explanation until the food arrived. "Big to-go order and a large party in the back room." Which we could not see from our table. Gravy was thin and so were the grits. Food was only warm.
