Wife had Blackened Salmon with Veggies plus side salad and I ate the Pork Chop with Wedges after the French onion soup. Reminded me of supper club but without a buffet. Bill was only $36 if paying cash and we left very happy. Thank you for the great service and reasonable prices! Really good food at a fair price. The only reason it is a 4, is because I called earlier in the day and was told we would be seated at 5pm with a party of 6 (including 3 young kids. When I got there at 4:45pm, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, which actually took an hour. It was definitely busy, but we would have gone elsewhere if we knew we had to wait as we were in a hurry to get the Herd game. All that said, really good food. We will be back. Nice Wisconsin supper club menu, atmosphere, and food. When we sat down we were served warm rolls. The wine & Whiskey selection is minimal. Our server was wonderful and even immediately adjusted the heat when she noticed the draft and that we were cold. My husband had the New York strip special, the steak was done to perfection and tasted delicious! He asked for sauteed onions on top and got two or three onion rings but that was okay. The vegetable medley was a little lackluster as it consisted of a California blend where the broccoli was mostly stalk, but overall his meal was a do-over! I ordered the salmon stuffed with crab and asparagus in a yellow hollandaise-type sauce. Stuffed Salmon Oscar? It was very good if you like crab. My meal came with a salad of very nice greens, perhaps arugula and other dark leafy greens and I believe they have several homemade dressings to offer. We had chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Definitely try it! The desert was excellent! Overall if you like Wisconsin supper clubs, this one has a really good menu, knows how to make a steak, has wonderful kind service, and a decent atmosphere. Ordered delivery. For the price it was not horrible but not spectacular either. The meatloaf was a bit dry, glad i had ketchup at home. Baked potato was good. Ribs were quite good but the mashed potatos tasted like cafeteria dehydrated potatos. Soup a bit salty. The mornay pasta dish had noodles sticking to each other, and the scallops should have been seared first, they were fairly rubbery. A lot of potential...a few drinks would have helped :)

They fall into the category of many, short staffed. We sat 20 minutes before being asked for a drink order. Our food order took another 10 minutes to give to the server. Food was wonderful as always. Tables were quite cozy. We went on Friday about 5pm. Be sure you like the people you are eating with because there is plenty of conversation time. Lake perch are tricky to get done just right. Sorry to say that Jeff's missed the mark. The perch tasted fishy and I found a few bones. I had to use tartar sauce, which I consider to be a sin on perch 😞. Service was okay, I ordered a Scotch and diet 7, got Scotch on the rocks. I'll be back, just have the haddock and a beer 🍺. Great pub and restaurant. The dining room is large enough for social distancing and nicely decorated for Christmas. We were seated immediately, the waitstaff was friendly, our glasses were never empty and the food was excellent! They have really great fried chicken and you can get whatever pieces you like for your order. All of their burgers are 1/2 lb, cooked to order, with lovely buns. The complementary loaf of fresh bread they serve is brought out warm and the butter is whipped so you can spread it without mauling the bread. We had the tiramisu for dessert, it was delicious.

The food was very good. Loved the French onion soup, I can't wait to have it again. The all you can eat fish fry was very nice and the sides were great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without being there all the time. Price was reasonable as well.
