The best lamb in the world. I traveled 400km just to try it, and it was worth it!! The only downside is that customer service is lacking, 2kg lamb + 8 drinks were 100€. We were getting back from our vacay from Thasos - Greece and my friends told me about this restourant that has famous lamb. My short story is that I went on Thasos, famous village Teologs that is famous for lamb and I went to the most famous tavern to try it. It was expensive but I said okay, I need to try the best and it was nothing special for me. Because I was disappointed, I said that I will go to Mrzenci when I travel back for home to see if the Greek lamb was that good. Story ends here because Javor Dzako can open a school form them how to prepare a lamb, price was excellent, service super, etc. I don't know what to say else, we belive too much to intenet articles for tourists and we need to research more about the places before going. For last several years they have excellent lamb roast from owen and other grilled meats and salads. Always kind staff and slighthly higher prices. It is worthy to make turn from highway and take a break in maple shadow to taste unusualy kind of roast. Delicious roasted lamb, which is their trademark. We also tried grilled meat (Sharska pljeskavica), it was also excellent. Service was very quick, staff was very helpful. Prices are quite reasonable. In the garden, there is a maple tree (hence the word "Javor" in the restaurant's name) which is said to be 200 years old. Friendly and fun staff. Been here three times already, the food is always fantastic and the service is fast. We didn't even have to tell the waiter what to bring, he brought a little bit of every side dish, and all were pretty tasty. Love it! Some of the best lamb we have ever had. Everything else was delicious as well. The service was super friendly and the ambiance was amazing. The food came would very quickly. You have to check this spot out. It is worth the drive. It's a bit in the middle of now where but WORTH IT!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local as a must stop on our way to Greece, and we are so glad we did!! The lamb was absolutely incredible, best we've ever had!! All the food was so delicious and the local wine they gave me was amazing!! The restaurant is super quaint and the staff were very friendly!
