James Restaurant has been there for many years. Now that it has a new owner. I could see the improvements in food, new upholstery in the booths, good courteous service. We had breakfast there. So good! This is definitely a must try if you haven't been to this place. Huge portions and excellent service! Very clean establishment! Try the sirloin steak and eggs! Food was not good, ordered the nashville chicken and it was just fried chicken not even spicy at all. When we asked if that was the "nashville" the waitress said yes. Waitress had long acrylic nails which when in to the plate when brought to the table. The restaurant looked nice though. And the cook was cordial too. Heavenly Pancakes has better food. I probably went in at the wrong time, the floors were messy in my area due to a lot of families enjoying Sunday brunch. A comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Our waitress was nice and chatted with us for a bit. You won't find this service anywhere else. I'm not a foodie. James' Restaurant is where you go to if you want good, simple food. There are no fancy fusions of anything. A burrito is a burrito and scrambled eggs are scrambled eggs. The atmosphere is family friendly. The servers are attentive and nice. The food is delicious. Keep in mind that the menu is huge. You'll have choices when you sit down and are ready to eat. One negative that has to be mentioned. Parking is limited and the spaces are small. Don't bring the huge 4x4 truck or massive SUV.
