Jack's Shack was recommended to us when we were in Grand Turk on a cruise. We really wanted to try conch and decided to give this place a try. The conch fritters were our favorite and the dipping sauce was delicious. The drinks were really good too. And... can we talk about that view?! It just doesn't get any better than a front-row seat to that beautiful blue water and white sand. My only complaint is that it does take a VERY long time to receive your food. This is fine if you have time to spare, but don't try to go at the end of the day before the about is about to depart. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy a drink (or two) while you wait for your food to be prepared by the very hard-working individuals in the kitchen. Thank you for a great experience at Jack's. This is a nice little bar and grill sit on the beach side close to the cruise port docking area. It's probably no more than 5 to 10 minute walk right along the beach off the pier. The food offerings were limited but done well, drinks also choices were much more diverse but the prices are a bit higher then I expected. Service is great, there are attentive and accommodating to special requests. With that said, other than being beachfront , there is nothing particularly special about the actual food and drink that served here. I feel this is a very weather-dependent facility, It wasn't a nice day where I can go park myself on the beach after stopping here I would have come here at all. Good food and environment, Fry conch is good. fish sandwich also tasty. Most are US or British style food. local rum. 10 minute walk from the cruise pier. Strong drinks at decent prices. The jerk chicken was some of the best I've ever had. Umbrellas and chairs available to rent for the day. The bluest water beach I've ever seen, you can see your feet under the water while you're out swimming. Your backdrop is your cruise ship docked in the pier against the blue clear water.
