Fish is very greasy and some of the corn meal on the fish is gummy and not cooked all the way same with the hush puppies your gonna need a fork to eat the fish if you dare because every piece I tried to pickup fell apart no seasoning and the fries were about 80% cooked also 👎🏻👎🏻
Only stopped by for a couple drinks. Meagan was very friendly and polite. Great customer service. It was early but I'd definitely recommend if your in the area to check this place out

Took the opportunity of visiting this bar based on the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised that the local (natives) were a lot of fun and very friendly as noted in other reviews, bar staff as always were wonderful, cheerful and happy which is a great asset to the bar itself, although it seems dated from the outside it does contain a lot of fun inside I would recommend a visit, definitely.
The chicken wings were awesome the Philly cheesesteak was also great, it’s good bar food!! The silverware I was told was locked away so finger food was the order of the day, it’s definitely dated but that’s the charm about the place, you can feel at home!! So please please visit the place, trying anything on the menu as I feel you you will not be disappointed.
I was spending the night at the Flying J truckstop, since I'm a truck driver. It was across the street so I went to have a bite to eat and was treated very nice by the staff of lady's. Prices are very fair and the Sweet heat flavor chicken wings I ordered were kick ass delicious! I love wings and these were up there with the best of them. So check it out and enjoy the local friendly atmosphere. Don't forget the wings 👍
Fabulous time. AB is an an be amazing bartender. Love this place. Highly recommended.The locals tried to get me to do the karaoke. I'm not doing that. I'm tone deaf. Was good to watch. AB made a good fish n chips in addition to tending the bar. I can't we wait to come back.
When you think "Local bar" JR's is the definition. Plenty of seating, friendly staff and customers, not too dark and not too bright. All drinks are served and their food menu is nice. I always order the philly cheese steak here and their cook is phenomenal! If you want to grab a drink and shoot some pool with friends, this is the place to go. Smoking friendly too!
People 5 stars on previous trip had a burger and fries also amazing. follow up trip I walked in and saw a sign that said best pizza in town they need to take that down pizza at Flying J is better. The hand tossed taste like hunt brothers frozen pizza was not impressed for the price
