I found this place by accident since I was in the area purchasing furniture and have been meaning to write this review for over a week. I am from queens and this place is better than any Jamaican spots around me. We showed up an hour before closing they still had a good selection of dishes and what they didn't they said they would make. The food was amazing and we were sitting in the parking lot waiting since the rasta pasta was being made fresh and the man was nice enough to bring it out to our car before we could even come back in to get it. I wish all places were like this, great food, great customer service, great people! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious, their homemade drinks are absolutely amazing. The sea moss drink with pumpkin is unbelievable. Must try!!! They were Super friendly and I would give them an 11 out of 10. I would recommend for everyone to try their restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal and I will be back. Outstanding customer service. While we waited I inquired about the different selection of dishes and was offered free samples which increased our order. The tropic fruit juices are delicious. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the jerk chicken and barbecue chicken and they were both so delicious that it made my husband cry with joy. The sides were just as tasty. I will definitely be going back to try the other dishes on the menu. My compliments to the staff for being so friendly and answering all of my questions. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The chef here Nigel is an amazing cook, also the host who serves too, Junnette is so polite and well mannered so patient as well. David who works the register is always so welcoming to me. Great food!! I got the large jerk chicken with extra sauce and when I tell you that chicken is cooked to perfection 💯. Everything was great! Customer service was 10/10. Highly recommended!!!!

I cannot comment on service and atmosphere but i can comment on food. The 4.6 rating for the stew snapper is a LIE!!!!! I ordered stew snapper and upon opening the dish i was extremely excited the presentation was nice. But that first bite! Was definitely not what i expected. It was like bbq fish. i could taste ketchup. Needless to say i ordered from seamless spent $40 on dinner because this is what i wanted to eat!! Huge disappointment i will not be ordering from here again. Food: 1

The service was good pleasant environment the young brother I assume was the manager ask me to be honest in my review so here it is. The stew chicken was ok to me my wife enjoyed the stew chicken i think the rice was a lil to mushy and the chicken was either over cooked or old bc it was chewy as of it was cooked more than a few days ago my son's had the oxtails i didn't hear any complaints so I assumed it was good but overall I'm giving island flavor 3 out of 5 for the stew chicken bc my wife enjoyed hers, also they need to pay attention bc I orderd a beef patty for home the patty wasn't in the bag so i called first to let them know the error the brother apologized and wanted to bring it to my house I told him that was ok bc I was already on my way back which was just 5min away, when I arrived he bless me with an extra patty and bottled water which I thought was Kool bc you do want a happy custom and also they asked me to try on the house of course their homemade juice I had the passion fruit which was good highly recommend trying so for that I'm giving them an overall rating 4 out of 5 just bc they're trying to do the right thing by their customers.. can't add photo bc this was a cpl of days ago sorry. I’m extremely disappointed and appalled with the way this establishment treated my significant other. On 9/13/2023, I called your location to order food to be picked up by my partner. Two large Oxtail meals and an order of jerk chicken. I told the gentleman on the phone that, ‘My Partner’s Name’, will be picking up the food. When he arrived to pick up the food, the people who were there around 8pm-8:30pm didn’t want to give him the food. They were trying to find out if he was the one who ordered the food. Mind you, the food wasn’t paid for yet and it's under his name. Which shouldn’t have them looking for who ordered the food. They should have asked his name and that would have been the end. They had him waiting for food that was supposed to be ready. Once it came to taking his money you all had a few people look over the money. I’d suggest you invest in a money pen or a bill checker. My significant other is Hispanic and I’m Caribbean. My partner felt angry that he was treated so poorly. It was racist in the way you all treated him. We live in a country which has a melting pot of people and cultures. No one should be treated differently if they come into your establishment to try your food. The customer service towards him was unacceptable. As far as the food, the sauces for my jerk chicken were left out. I couldn’t enjoy the potential flavors of the oxtails dinner because every bite I took had a peppercorn mixed into it and the oxtail had more fat than meat. Overall, I wish you all would do better and not regress into discriminating against different people. Ultimately, you all wouldn’t appreciate being treated in that manner. I had to write this review asap .my family and I went to your location to pick up dinner and it's the very first time I can say I've ever been greeted in a jamaican restaurant The atmosphere was so welcoming we even got extra food. Oxtail was perfectly made my children had pastas which was cooked to order and it was super delicious. Mango paradise was truly amazing .I highly recommend this place.
