I recently dined at an Indian restaurant nestled in the heart of Kandy city, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant boasts a charming interior with ample seating, creating a cozy ambiance. Our order of butter chicken paired with butter naan and garlic naan was simply divine; each bite bursting with flavor. The staff provided excellent service, enhancing our dining pleasure. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. The only downside was the difficulty in finding parking, but the overall dining experience more than made up for it.

Butter Chicken
Once upon a time this place was so good and delicious. This time we felt very disappointed.
Nothing was tasty and up to the level. Maybe they had lost their chef. We even took kebabs and butter naan for take away which was really awful. Service was not so good. Waiters didn't give enough information about the dishes and it took a really long time to arrive.
Parking at this location is a real challenge. Sometimes you have to walk meters away.

A tiny outlet that serves good food in portions too small for the price. We ordered Sizzling chicken which tasted good but was 6/7 pieces of chicken that even barely filled the sizzler dish it arrived it but easily costed the price of an entire meal elsewhere. It comes with no sides so we ordered chicken fried rice which was not at all tasty and felt like boiled chicken in an oily rice dish. The strawberry mojito albeit lacking strawberry taste was refreshing.
The service was good, calm atmosphere if we ignore the staff fighting over some attendance/payment issues which shouldn’t be happening at the first place.

I have been here a several times and the food at global kitchen tastes good. The atmosphere of the place is good when its less crowded but on crowded days and at lunch hours the place is not very appealing. A similar situation arises when finding a parking space, the availability is very limited during the day and ample at night. There is still lots of confusion with the two names the place has, Global Kitchen and Indian Summers.

Went here for a late dinner. Arrived around 21.30. We ordered something to drink (masala tea, coke, water), one soup, one daal and naan. I also ordered a vegetable rolls.
Food was pretty good and tasty. I ate the naan faster than I thought so I ordered a plain rice, which arrived pretty fast. But the masala tea & veg tools haven’t arrived.
When we got the bill, there was a masala tea. Since we haven’t received it, I asked the waiter and he tried to tell me that the tea will be ready in 2 minutes. We here here already for about an hour.
So overall, food was very good, the restaurant looks great, but the service was terrible.

Anther failure. This is the second time that indian summer restaurant disappointed us!
They are open till 11pm and even google confirms that. We go there at 10.15 and they we not keen to serve us. The service was so bad and they refused to serve hot water. It was just 2 of us and the bill valuwe was 5920/=, not complaining about the bill amount but it was the service and the taste that worried us! The chicken in the biriyani was under Cooked and when we complained they didnt even care.
Road side parking, small outlet with about 10 tables. This not ideal for a fun family outing. Service needs to improve.

Butter milk and curd rice was not included in the venue. But we ordered. Without saying no to us they served us with both items with love.

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is fast too.
The atmosphere of the place is truly amazing and I get the feeling of being in India when wandering here and there in the restaurant.

Poor taste. Meat in biryani was smelling and awkward. Not worth for the price (expensive menu). Service was ok. Restaurant looks classy and well decorated but unfortunately food tasted bad during my visit.
