First time coming into Ike’s And it smells amazing the moment you walk in!!!! Today myself and a friend came in for some good vegetarian sandwiches!!! I orders the 686. Picket Post Creek it’s an Exclusive only at Queen Creek AZ location!!! It comes with Vegan Meatballs, Ike’s Horseshoe BBQ Sauce, Gouda Lettuce Tomatoes red onion banana peppers and pickles on Gluten Free Bread!!! The bread was great and fluffy, with everything that was on the sandwich it made it sooooo juicy!!!! I loved this sandwich and definitely recommend trying it! One of my friends ordered the 76. M.I.L.F They said that it was delicious, and they advised it would be the once in a lifetime sandwich they tried. Another friend ordered the 61. Sometimes I am A Vegetarian and says that it is a stunning piece of architecture in a sandwich =} The breadologist was charming intellectual and thoughtful, he went above and beyond. Hubby and I finally went in and ordered sandwiches. I used to work in San Francisco California and I would get sandwiches from Ike’s all the time. I kept telling my hubby how great the sandwiches were. He had to agree with me after he had his Amuna’s Tuna sandwich on sourdough roll. I had the Rittenhouse pastrami sandwich on a sourdough roll (but without the BBQ sauce). Delicious and filling. I saved half my sandwich for later. Wheelchair friendly. I had the Reuben. Haven't had one in a long time and this one did not disappoint! It was huge, I took half of it home for later. Service was quick and efficient, restaurant was clean. While they have indoor seating, and I understand it's a sandwich shop, it would be great to see if this restaurant can expand to something a little bit more upscale. Loved it! The staff today was short and didn't have all their prep ready for them when they opened. They were still super kind and caring and made the most amazing sandwiches for us! All you need is love! Shout out to Katelin, Jules and Morgan! My better half got her usual Matt Cain with extra dirty sauce on Dutch Crunch. I tried the Paul Reuben with habanero sauce on Dutch Crunch (might be my new fav). Update: It seems Ikes has been working to improve staff and urgency. So much so that they have opened up for delivery with apps like doordash and Uber eats. Happy to say they're doing their best! Food is delicious and worth the 10-15 minute wait. Hopefully they will improve those wait times in the future. Still seeing issues with orders being missed. Hopefully they correct that. Update: Had to drop my review due to bad customer service. I ordered a classic Matt Cain and I sat there for 30 minutes as people walked in and out. They forgot to make mine. There's no urgency at Ike's and the understaffed employees kept chatting behind the counter. I don't see this location being open for long as this is why other locations lost their business. Been to several Ikes in different states and they're all equally delicious! Famous sandwiches with famously long wait times. You'll probably wait 10-20 minutes for your sandwich. 30 during the dinner rush. If you're willing to wait though, it's absolutely worth the try. I plan on coming here often for lunch. Sitting in the lobby waiting for my sandwiches and this place is BUSY! So is everywhere else in QC. These kids are doing their best and getting absolutely berated by grown men in the lobby. You can see the line out of the door! You can see the tickets of to go orders coming in. No need to talk to these kids like they are trash. Do better.

Not sure what happened to Ike's. I used to frequently visit the Mesa location during college days and sandwiches & service were amazing. This location probably needs more dedicated employees. Got 3 chicken sandwiches and didn't feel any chicken lol. The soda drinks felt like water. I told the employees and they said they fixed it but still was no taste of Pepsi or drP. Waste of $50. Took 30 mins from time of order to receiving our sandwiches. Not a clean table to be found inside or on the patio. There was a lot of movement behind the counter, but not a lot of progress. I will say that the sandwich was great. But in no way worth $15+. We had 2 sandwiches, 2 fountain drinks and 1 bag of chips and it was over $40. This was our first and last visit. OMGoodness, the sandwiches here are amazing. The way they put together the meats and veggies and the flavors of the seasonings is exceptional. They are good-sized sandwiches and the price goes with the size, but it is well worth it. Go get one, and you'll be delighted. Staff is nice, but the prices went up and the food quality has gone down. The first few times I went the sandwiches were awesome, but the last few times the sandwiches have been incredibly lacking.
