I ate here Tuesday and was very pleased with the food and service. Today was the polar opposite. The cook today was Dakota and my pablano omelet didn't have any avocado and the small amount of meat was on one end of the omelet. Between the server and cook from Tuesday, my expectations were that this place must train their employees. Today shattered that belief. I'm just now realizing that all the spiciness was in the first bite. The obvious issue with the avocado should have been caught by the cook and the server before I ever got to lay eyes on it. I can only describe the experience as a deterrent to return customers. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

As a restaurant, there’s a lot of things wrong with this place. The floors are completely dirty, Tables are sticky, And if it wasn’t for my server I probably would’ve left. Not trying to be picky because I used to be a server myself. When you first walk in, you’re supposed to be greeted, or at least acknowledge that someone will be there to help you, but there was this one guy sitting down absolutely doing nothing but another girl had to come over after helping her table to greet me. After I was finally said and greeted by server, I literally watched all the servers walk past the same piece of bacon for 25 minutes. The top to syrup was broken which I know ihop is supposed to refill or replace these and there was hair in my food. I took a picture just approve my point. At the end of the day, I hope this review helps improve this the conditions of the restaurant. Whoever we had for a waitress needs a raise. I never had to ask for a refill and she took the empty plates off the table very quickly after we finished. Food was all perfect too and came out quickly. 10/10 would recommend. However, I do not go when it is super crowded like a Sunday brunch or Saturday morning. I like going either before the rushes or after and I always get breakfast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I waited very long to place an order. I got the manager's attention and he got my drink and said she was busy. She was talking extensively to everyone. I waited 20 minutes for a check while she had 1 table and visiting with staff. I paid out with the manager. He offered no apology. Wow, I had the BEST experience with my server. He’s a taller gentleman, I believe his name is Adam, I’ve been here many times, but never received such outstanding service before. I-hop , I hope you are able to keep him on staff, you are lucky to have him because he made me and my family feel like we were at red lobster. This is the best and quickest service and food delivery I have EVER experienced at a IHOP! I was immediately seated, ordered the 2 egg breakfast with the waffle. The drinks were delivered quickly. The food was delivered fresh, hot and within 4 minutes without an error at all!! My best IHOP experience!! Always smells like sewer when you come in. But I do feel like all of the ihops I’ve been to are like this. But today however, came in to escape the 12 degree weather only to be sat on the side of the restaurant that is the cold side (per the lady seating us)…..thermostat shows it to be 52 in the room. 🤦‍♀️. And of course no explanation as to why. I really should’ve just left, as it only seemed to get colder the longer I sat. Sorry but their food isn’t worth freezing, having to wear my parka and hood, beanie, and covering my legs with other coats ,while I eat…just a cozy atmosphere. 😁🙄. Coffee was suggested to warm me up, expect with a 52 degree room, it was warm for about 3 minutes. It’s not like this place isn’t a 24 hour place and they just turned in the heat. Nope. It’s just cold. I feel sorry for the little old people I’m seeing with their arms wrapped up and leaning forward to try to stay warm. Server was very inattentive... waited an hour for food. My partner food was served 20 minutes before mine... we would ask for something and server would disappear for long periods of time and come back empty handed. Had to ask for syrup 3 times. Arrived at around 10pm. We placed our order to go, then after paying, realized that the server changed our order because she "didn't know where the button was" for the food we actually ordered. The item she rang in was a few dollars higher than the item we actually wanted. I ordered a burger with no tomato, no pickles. She repeated back correctly, but also removed onion. No worries, I don't care that much. While waiting, there was some sort of incident involving teenagers that had to be asked to leave. When our food finally arrived (after 11) we were missing an order of pancakes and my burger had tomatoes. Thankfully the manager refunded our ticket, and ran out our last order of pancakes out to our car as we were leaving. I did not want to wait another 45 mins for a burger refire and left hungry. One mistake is understandable. Two mistakes is worrisome Three ordering mistakes in a restaurant with unruly customers is just unacceptable. Our trip failed on every metric I can leave stars on. IHOP! The place to go when you want to be somewhere else...not a different restaurant, but a different city, different country, a different you maybe. Because...one of the IHOPS is all the same! Only the cast of characters changes, and in my experience, if you are decent with the staff, they'll do everything humanly possible to help you have a lovely meal. It won't be a five star experience because that's not what you came for. It will be down home, consistant from visit to visit, and nobody there will judge you for finishing up your week's allotment of Entertainment Calories.
