If you want an elevated pizza experience beyond what you think you know of "good pizza" then you need to come here. The Mozzarella and the Gelato were still inside the cow this morning. The spicy chilli paste is full of the flavours of the peppers and other ingredients. You can taste how particular they've been with the type of wood they use in the oven. The balsamic vinegar is the legit stuff from Modena. Tomorrow's pizza dough's eggs haven't been laid yet and the fresh produce of African soil combined with the Heart of Mother Italy creates a portal to an incredibly special gastronomic experience, built on the authenticity of home-grown, home-made principles of living that is unfakeable. A superlative experience both palpable and especially gustatory made of the highest quality materials expertly processed with passion, artisanal method and the right timing that would yet make a highly positive difference firstly in Italy. Being able to experience it at such a distance here is exceptional and unique. The dough for pizzas and panuozzi is made from scratch the night before, left to rise overnight, the next day you enjoy it also in the form of a crust so delicious you would go crazy and eat another one right away. Ice cream is also made from milk milked in the barn every morning, it is the only ice cream that must be eaten or licked while sitting down to be concentrated and fully enjoy its indescribable taste. The finest pizza south of Italy … north of Italy too! A really perfect crust which finds the balance between crispy & chewy, beautifully browned in a wood-fired oven, made in the authentic way. The toppings are tasty & generous. The chef visits every table & is passionate about his food & this comes through on the plate. The owners & staff are attentive & hospitable plus there was a musician (I think he plays Wednesdays & Sundays) to crate a wonderful ambiance. Really an excellent lunch. Best pizza in the Western Cape. The pizza margarita (napolitan style) was amazing. Crust is perfect. Flavours perfection. Meat and cheese board great value and delicious! Calzone superb. Wine reasonable. I Advise to go early to get a table (like 11:45am for lunch). Drove from Knysna as I needed a good pet friendly place for my dog and I to enjoy some great food. Had an awesome pizza, a milkshake and a green juice which was all very good. Finished off with a scoop of ice cream because I was full, but it was a lot of ice cream. Generous portions. The green country setting surrounded by trees is wonderful. There was fantastic live music to complete the perfect atmosphere. Dogs are allowed on leashes, and it is customary to pick up after your pet unless you are a piece of shift yourself, in which case stay at home rather. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a great place. We ended up coming back three times during our short stay. The staff are friendly and service was good. Their pizzas are top class. The restaurant is also pet friendly which allowed us to bring our two dogs. This is a big plus! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

This is a food heaven. The pizza was great, thin crust, delicious mozzarella, and just great flavour. They've got the real Italian hot chocolate (if you haven't tried it, I can definitely recommend).
