5 stars as a place to eat a good hamburger.
Here you will find many things, is a nice restaurant sitting in the shiralea area. Came for the good reviews of the hamburger, and I must say, it’s the best I had so far in the island, and went directly to my top 5 in the word. Here is why:
1. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the taste was excellent, with the touch of pepper and spices enough to still taste the good meat.
2. Size: I actually had to divide the portions, the meat was thick and you can tell is home made right away.
3. Shiralea burger has bacon, yes… it doesn’t only say it has (and then you find out they put you 2 almost invincible stripes), you can actually see a lot of good quality not really fatty bacon.
So… I would definitely come to this place just for the burger, even if I have to rent a motorbike. I strongly recommend
Awesome restaurant with great value food. We tried the mixed berry smoothiebowl and the post workout smoothiebowl. They were delicious and refreshing. The portions are big compared to the other places on the island. Great value for the money!
I came to have breakfast here once, because the options on the beach are either limited (pancake OR porridge OR toast etc) and here they offer some good breakfast sets for breakky lovers! I had the continental breakfast for 180Baht, yes, everything is around 3 times as expensive as on the mainland and around haad yao there are no nice streetfood stalls. For the price the breakfast could include a good coffee, not only juice. I ordered a cappuchino which was a very mily latte with foam.
Hoy can also get porridge (75B), waffle (100) eggs etc, and burgers, nuggets, fish and chips etc for lunch or dinner.
Nice chillout feeling, good brit music in the background, not for you if you're looking for local.
Had the Pad Kra Pao (+fried egg) - it was delicious and the portion was big. Price is very reasonable for what you are getting, also staff is super friendly. Recommended!
Place with this positive vibe that is very hard to catch in words. Great english-speaking, relaxed but professional and always helpful staff. Food is on of the best we had in Thailand. We've tried PadThai(110thb), Penang Curry(135thb), TomYum(110thb), Papaya Salad(65thb), some sandwiches for breakfest (cheese&pineapple) and mango sticky rice (110thb). Bottle of chang beer is 75thb. In total strong 5/5. Place that you always want to stay for one more beer.
Tense atmosphere, staff wasn't in the mood. Especially one guy was very strange. Didn't respond at my "hello", didn't smile or even looked at me. They also messed up the order - twice! 🤣 First we got tosts without eggs, then my friend didn't get his order at all and we had to remind staff that we are still waiting for a meal. Maybe they just had one bad day, I don't know, but definitely not coming back 😄
Nice relaxing place. Cheaper and better than other restaurants on the beach. Many veggie offers. Everything seems to be under control of a professional cook. Many interesting dishes I didn’t eat before. Would come again.
Also my Thai wife and her daughter liked it (not always easy to find restaurants for both tastes)

The place itself is really nice and has got a chilled vibe. I ordered the fish and chips and my partner had a chicken burger. They got our order wrong but I think that’s due to the language barrier. Overall the food filled a hole and was tasty enough.

Food was delicious and it’s a cool chilled vibe. I’m giving 4 stars as they forgot my sisters order so we waited about 30 minutes for a wrap.
