After so many good friends suggested this place to me, I thought I’d give it a try…I cannot say enough good things about it!!! I’m obsessed. It’s my new favorite. And I hope everyone will try it so it can be a thriving part of our community for a very long time. The atmosphere is fun and hip. The price points are very reasonable and the value is crazy good. I've been wanting to try this for a few months. It was...just okay. The spam masubi was good. It's served warm, which is different, but I really liked it. The poke bowl l chose was the Sunny Monkey. It lacked some flavor. I can't decide what it was missing, but it was just fine. I wouldn't get it again. They have an extensive menu and I might try again, but probably wouldn't take the family. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. It's a bit pricey for location, set up, and proportion. $50 for 2 surf and turf and regular drinks for lunch. It's definitely a must go. WOW! If you’re looking for something different, LOOK no more! The Hungry Monkey offers super delicious Hawaiian food! Fresh and yummy! The Poke Bowls are customizable. I tried the Salmon Poke Bowl with cucumbers, bell peppers, wontons, jalapeños, and avocado; and it was FANTASTIC! Nice and filling. Highly recommend! Will be back for sure! The food was okay, the atmosphere was nice. I would try again but get something different. I had the shoya chicken. The other review looked good, so I stopped in. The bad reviews are ridiculous. Some of the good reviews are also ridiculous. Atmosphere 4.5 a little smoky from them cooking. Not necessarily a bad thing. You know it's fresh.
