Went in with high expectations, yet left a bit disappointed. Plates are a mix of different flavours, yet forgetting the essence and purity of local flavours. Service was even not to the standard of the food. Plates were put on the table and 1 minute later taken away to bring to another table. For one of the courses they even forgot to add sauce to the dish. Very dark setting, yet is subjective and some might like this. Undoubtedly the food was great. Small servings per course were expected. It was a little bit pricey. The only down fall was the whole course was served in a span of 3 hours. I imagine the setup was optimized for people who ordered 7 course meal and the drinking package. We only ordered 5 course and waited for eternity every other meal. I can imagine the waiting time for those who ordered only the 3-course meal. I went there hungry expecting to enjoy the food. Imagine myself hungry but was served with small portions of food every 30 mins. The main dish came after more than 45mins. The waiting time ruined everything. I totally lost my patience and was not enjoying the moment anymore after the second course. This restaurant is probably good for people who have lots of stuff to catch up with but not for people who are hungry and just want to eat and leave. I had 3 course with drink package there. Food tasted great, drinks are amazing and matching. I had alcohol free variants that was amazing and surprised me. Service is outstanding and food/drinks explanations was great. Background music levels are just right, lights are great. Simply an amazing place to visit. Amazing food and wine. The staff are real pro's and very dedicated. We had 6 courses and 6 wines and spent in total 4 hours here. Hours that we enjoyed a lot! Taste combinations were exceptional in every dish. The sommelier gave us wine that suited very well with 5 out of 6 dishes, and good with 1 of the dishes. Which is still rare to find in up north Sweden. Simple plating and clean tastes in the dishes but cooked very well. We were surprised by the overall high quality and sense for small details here. Im definitely coming back next time im anywhere nearby!

By far the best dining experience I've had. We had a 5 course meal and I was already impressed after the first snack before the first dish. Excellent menu, superb service. The wine package was very well worth it, jamming with every dish all the while being great on their own (and im usually a beer guy). Spouse had the non-alcoholic package which was also superb. 10/10 Service from Lukas who served us. Will be returning as often as I'm able to. Had the 7 course meal with the wine pairing. Simply flawless. Cannot say a single bad thing about the food or drinks served. The staff was extremely courteous, professional and kind. If you come to Umeå you must visit this pearl.

We had the 5 course dinner with drink package. Food and plating excellent. The service process was smooth and friendly. The ambience of cellar was cosy. The only thing to complain about in the experience was the wardrobe, it was crammed when we arrived and when we left there were coats on the floor etc. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
