Beautifully decorated, brand new, amazing food. I can’t think of a single reason not to go. Plenty seating outside at kiosk as well, lots of space for kids to play outside, weather permitting. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Booking advised during peak seasons as restaurant is closed on certain days ( it would be advisable to check their opening hours on Google Maps before you go, as it may change and to avoid disappointment ) Love the humongous rattan lampshades and the copper mermaid door handles. The decor was clearly well thought out and skillfully executed . Waiter’s uniforms even matched the overall color scheme, all of them friendly and professional, conducive to an overall feast of the senses. The bathroom is equally impressive and was immaculate. There are plenty of free parking around, even in peak season. Prices were around R80 per person for a starter, and around R160 per person for a main meal . Wine selection was limited ( only white wine, no reds but local beers and ciders available) Restaurant opened only two weeks ago, so I assume the wine list might expand in future) It’s my humble opinion that the owners will do excellent with this new venture, considering the fact that they have achieved this level of excellence despite the fact that it was just an empty shell about two months ago.

So excited about this new spot. I was here in September and the building was an empty shell. What they've done in the last 2 months! Well done to the owners! And standing ovation for the staff. Opening a restaurant in Stilbaai in December cannot be easy and they are nailing it.
Compliments to the cheff... We only had tapas and it's divine!
Opening a restaurant with an existing liqour license is a bonus and sipping in a cold beer or chilled wine is perfect in summer.

Wonderful and delicious 😋 in Stilbaai. You would think you are sitting in a trendy upmarket restaurant anywhere in the world, but this little secret gem 💎 is a must visit or to do list restaurant for your planning. Ps. Best salad dressing ever

We enjoyed a lovely brunch at Hulle by die see. Loved the earthy decor and vibe. Recommend to book or come in off peak times to enjoy a seat outside under umbrellas overlooking the lagoon. The meals are decently portioned and delicious! Service is quick and friendly.

Lovely environment with beautiful views and good food. We went on a date night and certainly enjoyed it.
The only downfall is the very limited menu. In the evening they had run out of fresh fish and we could not order any fish meals, therefore fewer than 5 other meals. There are only two cocktails on the menu, Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri, and after the kitchen had closed we were rushed to finish our meals😢

We went with family. We ordered grilled fish and chicken strips for the children. The menu is limited, there is no dish without garlic in it. The fish was watery and under cooked and the chicken strips were raw. The only good dish on the plate was the chips.

Made a specific table booking for 4 people for a special occasion and when we got there the table we reserved was occupied and we were ushered to another. Fish was very tasty but was disappointed with the contents of the salad and the options of sides available. We were 4 people and had to share 3 small bowels of different sauces which was too little. Opinion on corkage at R70 also seems a bit steep.
