Not crowded. You can get quite afew a la carte noodle and rice options here while having the option to order dishes. The food is alright. Nyonya laksa only comes in meehuon or yellow noodle. I was expecting to smell the noodle when it is served but can't smell any fragrance

Rarely can find a good place with good food with good prices in Melaka, and HomeTaste Melaka is such a place. For those who are not to splurge on Melaka or peranakan food but wish to savour the taste of peranakan or Melaka, this is the place. Simple good food at good price. Melaka Part X - The Finale It was time to say goodbye to Melaka. We packed our bags, returned the house key to our AirBnB host and bid this city adieu. As we drove out of the residential area, I still didn't feel satisfied yet. My head told me to get a bowl of good cendol in order to leave a sweet memory to myself 🤣 . Going through my list, I saw HomeTaste which was very near to me. The sporting ones nodded their heads while the lazy ones chose to stay in the car. HomeTaste serves Nyonya food and looking at the menu, everything looked good but we were too full for a meal - it was just not the time for lunch yet. ◾Otak-Otak Fish RM13.00 - surprised by the flavourful taste when I didn't expect much. The Otak-Otak had generous chunk of fish inside. ◾Traditional Nyonya Cendol RM6.00 - fortunately, the cendol had nice sweet & savoury gula melaka and a dollop of red beans to satisfy the sweet tooth in me. Haven't been down to Malacca almost 8 months, was there 2 months ago hv early brunch bout 11.00am, ordered laksa nyonya(ini baru betul nyonya laksa lah), meehoon siam, mee basar looks like mee hailam to me, assam prawn n cendol, all tasted good 👍 😄 d assam prawn was best n fresh 4.8 upon 5, that's for d assam prawn,(sorry d assam prawn in my tummy already forgot to take picture 📸 😄)d rest of d food 4.5 upon 5, nothing to complain service was good, d price ok lah Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 60–80 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food is tasty and generous. The cendol is the best in town . Ice shave is smooth, the gula melaka is authentic without sugar mixing . Red bean paste can tell is homemade but not commercial one . Incredible dining experience here at HomeTaste Melaka! Very authentic nonya food that really tastes like parents cooking. The mee siam and sambal kangkung blew me away, while the fried sotong was also very tasty. The restaurant interior is modern while retaining a authentic nonya aesthetic, making it a very pleasing dining experience.

Very nice cendol and cozy environment. Came here for quite a few times but they were closed early. The price is really reasonable. Cendol is much better than the restaurant at the other end. :-P Parking is free due to no dedicated parking space but it could be quite hard to find one during weekends. This is my family first time lunch at Home Taste. Foods are authentic nyonya and baba styles. The udang masak lemak kuning is a must to eat. We will certainly come here again to have our lunch or dinner. Overall all good with 5+1 star. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
