It is one of a nice shops and simple place to have lunch and dinner at Ngwe Saung beach. Food are delicious and fresh especially sea food. The shop decoration is also a simple local style decoration.
Great place. The ladies that work here are probably the most polite people I have ever met. Been for breakfast pancakes a couple of times and was really good. Had tom yum tonight which was delicious. Lots of great authentic Thai food on the menu too. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. You can also get a good pot of Lipton tea here with fresh milk. :)
Wow, what a taste. Usually I don't dare to eat seafood in tropical areas, but here I dared. And got rewarded. We were there several times and all dishes were outstanding.
Visited Ngwe Saung Beach over the weekend, 17-19 May.
One of my friends saw this restaurant on TripAdvisor, and we decided to give it a try. I find that one thing that sets this place apart is the service that they provide.
Upon being seated, the ladies set the tables with placemats and brought out standing fans. During the time we visited, the weather was unbearably hot and uncomfortable, and the fans that were brought out made it bearable and even comfortable. Even before we placed our orders, we felt at 'home' with the arrangements they made.
The staff are able to speak in English which eased the food ordering process. The food was reasonably priced and we could customize the taste according to our fancy. They are also attentive to detail and checked on us whether the taste were to our liking after we started eating. The seafood we ordered tasted fresh and the prawns were juicy. We couldn't help but to come back again throughout the trip!
We noticed that mangoes were growing on the trees and we asked about them with the intention of buying them, and the owner offered them to us for free, slicing it into bite sizes for us.
We felt extremely welcome and no doubt this place deserves a solid 5 stars, not just for the food, but also for the service. It is a pity that I am unable to give a higher star rating for this restaurant. If you ever visit Ngwe Saung, I would definitely recommend you to visit this restaurant.
Wonderful home style and hygienic food in ngwe saung. They even customise as per your taste. I would surely recommend this place to try grilled sea food. Staff and the owner are so friendly that you feel at home. Smoothies are also a must try.

While staying here, I have returned twice due to the delicious food and fantastic service. I ordered vegetarian massaman curry which I highly recommend to anyone eating here. The portion sizes are quite big but the food is so good, you won't mind! The people who work here are very polite and kind, with a good knowledge of their menu. I would also recommend their honey pancakes, if you want a sweet treat
