It's definitely cheap and authentic, with some nice bits. Fried noodles were probably the best, if a bit soggy. The side dishes were plentiful but not to our taste unfortunately. Would not recommend the curry and rice. Great service though!

It's a nice place close to the pier, for trying out good food.
The owner lady was very well versed with English and is very polite. She owns a hotel as well in New Bagan.
Fresh coconuts are in abundance.
Do give it a try.

Lovely very cheap local place with small menu. The host was really nice and spoke a very good English, telling us details about Bagan (for free and without trying to sell us something!! If you were there, you know how rare that is ;). Really great noodle soup!

We had the chicken noodle soup and chicken curry rice set here, both for 2,000 kyats each. We had to battle the flies for our food (the fermented side dishes attracted them), but it was all really tasty.

We just had a beer. Nice ladies. Helped us with top tips for view points.
