Dal Tadka with Rice
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Himalayan food here and can say that they serve affordable, authentic dumplings, samosas, butter chicken with rice and much more.
I was blown away by how delicious the food was and how convenient it is in today's expensive market.
The dumplings were perfectly cooked, with a tender and flavourful chicken filling, served with a delicious hot dipping sauce that complemented the dumplings perfectly, while the butter chicken was tender, juicy and accompanied with fluffy white rice.
One of the best things about this restaurant is how affordable it is. In today's expensive market, it's refreshing to find a place that serves high-quality, authentic food at such reasonable prices. I was able to get a filling meal for a fraction of the cost of other restaurants in the Nelson region.
I was also impressed by the convenience of the restaurant. It's a great spot for a quick meal, especially if you're looking for a satisfying dinner after a long day. The service was friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant dining experience overall.
Victory square has always been a hub for multicultural communities, with schools close by, corner stores, a pharmacist and more.
As a pleased customer, I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Himalayan food and is looking for a delicious, affordable, and convenient meal. It's a gem in the local food scene and definitely worth checking out.

I love this small authentic takeaway. I do really believe it has made our victory community more enjoyable having the Himalayan Food Corner. My friends and I go here regularly to eat Nepalese snacks (it is soooo good!!).
The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Good hot curries and great Nepalese street foods too. I 100% recommend this place!

My only critique would be for you to closely monitor your holding temperatures every hour and ensure your bain marie is at the correct holding temperature. I live one minutes drive away and have needed to microwave the food both times I've purchased from you.
