This is my 10th year purchasing bone-in rib eye roasts from Harris Teeter, and all has gone pretty well until I started purchasing from this store. For the past two years, I’ve placed custom orders, and they’ve been cut incorrectly. I’ve had to bring back an entire roast because of it. What a waste! However, I can say the customer service always righted the error. This year, I went in, and I asked ahead of time who would be able to cut it correctly to make sure an expensive roast wasn’t wasted. Tammy stepped up right away. What a powerhouse! She knew exactly what I wanted, remembered me from last year, and cut it absolutely perfectly. Not to mention, she has an amazing personality, she’s super kind and friendly, and is such an asset to your team! Customer Service like hers is greatly appreciated, and it makes it a pleasure to shop. Thank you, Tammy, thank you, Manny, for making sure you put me in her capable hands, and thank you, Harris Teeter, for always offering incredible sales on rib roasts during the holiday. I will be a returning customer.
Excellent place to shop. Free parking with ample spaces. The store is always clean and well stocked, and the personnel are always happy and helpful. Sale prices are excellent, and the points for shopping help purchase gas at a lower price.
This specific Harris Teeter has bait and switched me for the last time. Every time I do a pick up order they only have 75% of what I ask for and most of the time it's there, as I have gone back and looked and found it. They also do not honor sales promotions. For example, I ordered 2 Dr. PEPPER Zeros and you get 2 free making a total of 4. You can bet I paid for the 2 but only got my 1 free. When I called to speak with the manager he wanted to control the situation in his terms not mine. The reason for this review is to seek out others that have had the same thing happen. My guess is there is a law suit here of promising and not delivering. I'll be speaking with my attorney this week. This is wrongful advertising and there should be processes in place by Corp HT to fix a problem like this and not punish the customer. Reply if this has happened to you.
Usually a 10/10 but today I saw flies in the bread box where they sell loose rolls. Told a lady by the name of Jessica who didn't seem to care much about bugs being in the bread they are selling. This happened on 8/27 around 11am est. In case anyone wants exact info. I would say avoid the "fresh" bread and please avoid Jessica at all costs. Sadly deeply disappointed 😞
They used to have the biggest selection of Gluten Free items. I came in today and was told it now has been condensed to a small section and like their other stores around it always has outdated items. This is very dissatisfying as a person who has an extremely hard time finding the items MY BODY can tolerate. So I’m forced to shop elsewhere.
Great place to shop and they usually have the freshest produce and meat! Great wine selection as well, sometimes prices aren't the lowest, but they have great items and quality items that no one else has. We also love the fuel points and their pharmacy is really nice!!
Super clean, incredible selection, great service, and very accessible! We got hot bay food, $5 sushi, raw juice, fresh fruits and speedy checkout!!!! Yeah, it was a pleasure shopping during these COVID times!
Janet at the customer service/ self checkout lane is great! She helped me a whole lot and was so positive and had a great personality and you can tell she really cares about her customers. Somebody give her a raise Fr !!!!!!
Dana in the deli/bakery area is amazing and extremely talented! She decorated my son’s cake for his 7th birthday! We received so many compliments on his cake.The cake looked and tasted delicious! Thanks so much again!
