I saw recent review for the restaurant’s food, surprisingly most of them are unhappy with their food and services but not the curry bun as its a different owner. But to us, we just come there to eat the curry bun and ordered one dish which is salted egg fried chicken with rice. I would say chicken curry bun is a definitely a hit, we couldn’t stop eating it ! As for the restaurant’s food (salted egg fried chicken), it tastes great. Love everything about it. Would totally come back there to taste ONLY the restaurant’s food and give a second review. P/s we are craving for the chicken curry bun, can’t wait to visit Port dickson again! As for the service, we come around 1pm+, they only have 2 3 waitress working at that time, it was okay but they are not attentive as we keep calling them out. Some just look at phone. It used to be a typical kopitiam but it’s now a very modern restaurant. The name Lucky King Bun has been synonymous with curry chicken in a bun for a long time. It’s a popular dish for those visiting PD. However after so many years of not eating this, we were disappointed that the quality of the famous curry chicken bun has dropped significantly. The curry chicken is not as nice, the sauce is thicker and more Indian type curry. While the bun was not as fluffy. Overall we would rate the curry chicken bun a 3/5 at best. Nevertheless the environment is very nice and clean. Service is also good and prompt. If only they could improve on the quality of their best selling curry bun I’m sure they would be doing roaring business…..

Visited Seremban shop but it’s sold out (may be due to Chinese New Year, better call and reserve one day ago) , the staff was very kind to reserve the final one in lukut for us. We took away and eat this big big bun in hotel after half a hour. It’s still hot and the curry chicken we’re mouth watering😋😋😋😋 bread and thick curry has the best match👍🏼 Food: 5 Service: 5

The curry bun was good, although I still prefer the ones from Kampar. The other food we sampled was pretty good, too. It's worth the visit if you're down holidaying in PD, take a drive to Lukut, a mere 20 minutes leisurely drive away

The food was okay. We ordered 5 items, but the one that tasted better was the marmite chicken. The rest was so so. The place was clean and service was fast. A good place to stop by for lunch if you are passing through Lukut.

The bread with curry shop is SO NOT customer friendly at all, still ordered just because rest of the family wanted to try and compare it with seremban and kampar bread and the chicken curry.. I will not step foot to the shop just because of that. Food I wouldn't say is so good but price is quite pricey especially it's in LUKUT. Clean restaurant and clean bathroom though. Food taste is ok, not very tasty.

Lucky King Bun was ok especially for their Chicken Bun, Pork Bun ok ok only and slightly expensive. Other dishes were ok but overall cleanliness need to improve because lots of flies flying around, not sure from the outside or flies season now. Anyway, will come back again.

Everything good, recommended. When I was going to PD, sure will stop here. Price a bit pricey 💰 Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Curry Chicken with Bread
Normally, I would not agree to buy a 'Curry Bread' because I find either the bread too sweet or the chicken curry not nice. But this restaurant has changed my mind with their version of 'Curry Bread', I found it worth trying. Though it's not cheap, it's worth trying. Bread was soft and the chicken curry was delicious. Not hot for a curry and a generous helpings of chicken with thicken curry gravy. 😋 There are other choices of Bread With curry pork ribs or combination of curry pork ribs and curry chicken. Both also comes with a different price tag. Just perfect for a simple lunch by the beach.....enjoy! Have a great weekend outdoors, stay safe. Service Take out Meal type Lunch
