So delicious and so fresh! The food was amazing! Better than Panda Express or any of those other chain restaurants. The staff were also super friendly, they all had big smiles and were so happy to see people enjoying their food! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, family friendly, and comfortable. It’s also nice to know the food is halal, this will be my regular go to place!

*100% Zabiha Halal Chinese Restaurant*
My mom and I have a tradition. Once a week, after work we drive to a restaurant and enjoy our meal in the car; we have a car date. So when I heard about a Zabiha Halal Chinese restaurant, OF COURSE, I had to drop everything and run (read: drive) to it! Anyone that knows me knows that I don’t drive further than Dublin 😂 so my going to Fremont for a restaurant was one of the wildest things I have done in quite a while!
I came across multiple posts with positive reviews about the food at Habibiz and obviously that contributed to the formation my impromptu early dinner date with my mom.
We got there at the right(est) time as moments after we entered, the queue began getting long after us.
The restaurant was clean and it gives a typical Chinese restaurant see-what-you-eat vibe, with the food neatly set up for display. After deep consideration, we decided what we were going to get. We got two boxes; one with fried rice and one with chowmein. Both, my mom and I are Chicken gals so we opted for that protein. We ordered orange chicken, chili chicken dry and a chicken gravy dish with vegetables that was hot and sour (I forgot to ask what’s it called). We also got a couple of egg rolls and a side of fried fish. The portions are really good and the price? THE BEST!
The food lived up to the hype! It was absolutely delicious and while everything was so so good, I had a few favorites; the chili chicken (dry), chowmein and the fish were absolutely yummy! My mom loved the orange chicken!
Okay, now that we have the food review out of the way, I want to make a special mention of the fact that the owner has made a masjid right next to the restaurant and I think that’s wonderful! We weren’t sure if we could use the masjid since some work was being done inside and coincidentally, we met with the owner right outside the masjid. Brother informed us that a few final touches were being made but the masjid was open and guided us inside. I would like to end this long overdue post with something a brother working at the masjid said. He said that we had food for the body and the soul at the same place and I think that’s a wonderful thought.

Hands down the BEST Halal Chinese food I’ve ever had! They are so friendly the minute you open the door until you go. Water was free. The portions are huge! I am fussy- like super fussy about fish in restaurants and this the ONLY place I have eaten and enjoyed fried fish in 20 years. No joke. It’s the first place I ask my husband to take me for our lunch dates. They only serve certified, halal meats. They do NOT serve pork in ANY fashion. They do not serve any alcohol.
Need a space to make your prayers? They have a small mosque (with a women’s area) right next door.
You will absolutely LOVE this restaurant and I encourage everyone to give them a try!
Did I mention I am STILL using my aluminum water bottle?💕💕💕
Great new halal chinese restaurant that has that panda express type of vibe. The service was really good and the restaurant has good seating as well. The chairs are cushioned by the way! The staff was really nice, THEY HAVE A SEPARATE ROOM TO PRAY IN, how dope is that مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ
The food was really good, the noodles were good. The pepper beef was great, my family tried different items they had.
They also carry shasta cola so they are not supporting the bad brands, this was very good that they did that, Allah bless them.
One recommendation would be to not have music playing in background since nobody will notice if its absent and to have music playing where pictures of Kabah is not good.
The servings are really large, i will split what i got between tonights meal and tmrw’s lunch for sure

This place used to be called Y2 Deli and was the perfect Chinese food place. I come here all the time for lunch break - they recently renovated! Completely new vibe but the food is the same and it’s delicious!

A must try halal Chinese place in the middle of a business hub.
Most dishes we tried were delicious, and the interiors are pleasing and modern.
They still serve in takeaway boxes though, which still need to be rightly sized to prevent all tastes being mixed up.
Worth mentioning is the designated prayer area right next to it, and the sleek golden van!

Without a doubt, the best halal chinese place I have been in the Bay Area ever.
To start things off I will give context to my visit. I had been traveling across the east bay from palo alto going from berkeley to san ramon to pleasanton and ultimately stopping at fremont. I was starving running off of just one cup of chai, a pastry, and a couple of french fries. Alhamdulillah one of my friends told me about this halal chinese place called Habibiz. He had told me "it's basically a halal panda express". But my god is that an understatement.
I arrived there an hour before closing (around 8 pm) and honestly I was shocked to walk in and see 1. how packed the store was, and 2. to see just how clean it was inside. Alhamdulillah this place is really well staffed too. When my turn in the line came, I asked the person serving me the food to give me a three entree plate with chow mein and his three favorite entrees. I believe he gave me the Pepper Beef, the Mongolian Beef, and the Szechwan chicken. When I made it to the register I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also served one of my favorite drinks, peach soda. My total came out to be about 20 dollars and I can honestly say that it was worth every penny.
All of the beef dishes I had were extremely tender and packed with flavor, the chow mein was with thick cut noodles and wasn't too oily, and the szechwan chicken was very crispy although it was not super tender (although I think this was because I got the last serving from the batch that was there). I finished the whole plate and I can say for certain that I left satisfied.
What I ordered:
Main - 3 Entree plate with Chow Mein, Pepper Beef, Mongolian Beef, and Szechwan Chicken. Totaled to around $14 or $15
Drink - Peach Soda

Clean place with warm staff and great food! Think Panda Express, plus halal. The portions are generous and we’re thrilled that we now have a good, clean, halal Chinese option.

Overall experience was really good as the service, atmosphere, food portion, and the pricing was amazing.
The noodles were too thick. Orange chicken had really big pieces of chicken in it and the sauce was too thin.
Pepper Beef was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Hot n sour Soup was okay. Shrimp was okay too, nothing special.
I would definitely come back to try their other items and of course, because of their affordable price!
