This place was a pleasant surprise when my boyfriend and I were hunting for places open on Labor Day. They had a 2 lobster rolls for $45 deal that day and they were 10/10. The atmosphere is very relaxed and charming, with outdoor seating with views of the cove. We’ll definitely be coming back here the next time we’re in Maine! There are higher end places in the area. However for fresh seafood this place is fantastic. You order at the counter. They have lots of fried and steamed fresh seafood, including lobsters and lobster rolls. Fun place that also sells raw fresh seafood which is also fantastic. We got some haddock and made great fish tacos at home as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Me and friends ended up here in search of Live lobsters 🦞 and it was totally worth. The price is decent with a good seating availability, the lobsters were really good. I definitely recommend this place as well for lobsters. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Steamed Lobster

Great hidden gem…supreme chowder with whole clams! Amazing crab roll as well, one of the best ever. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Clam
Hands down the worst seafood/clam chowder I have ever had. The store itself and the staff were great, but do not get the chowder. It is just buttery-water soup with some seafood. The fresh seafood looks amazing, but I am never eating the chowder here again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Delicious lobster rolls, you get a decent amount of meat for the fairly cheap cost ($20). It’s served cold, so a side of fries pairs quite nicely. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Lobster Roll and Fries

The food was fresh and tasted amazing! It’s a great clam shack with all fresh seafood and the burgers and fries are on point. The only small disappointment was that there’s no restroom. But that only thing is not a good enough reason to pass this place by. Best clam chowder or if you are a native (Chowdah) I have ever had 👍 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Clam

The blueberry pie and lobster roll is a must! They also have fresh fish to buy and take. You order at a window then wait for your name to be called. The small indoor area is for "grocery" shopping. There are benches undercover to sit and wait for your food. Picnic tables are available next to the water when weather permits. This is not a wheelchair approved restaurant. With some mobility issues you can make it indoors but the picnic area is a little more treacherous. There are no bathrooms but an outhouse. It is more a order to go place. The food was great. Whole clams in the clam chowder, large chucks of lobster in the soup and rolls, but the crab cake sandwich had hardly any crab. No chucks of meat mostly filler. This might be the Maine way as I'm use to Maryland crab cakes. It still had good flavor. This is certainly a must stop. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

I've had a million crabcake sandwiches from a million different places and this was, by far, the worst I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say that 99% of this "crabcake" was filler. Save yourself the $10 and just eat a bag of bread crumbs. Service Take out Food: 1
Interesting little locals place, we ordered crabcakes, seafood chowder, and lightly fried scallops. In general the prices are middle of the road for this locals place, crabcake was a little bit on the dry/breaded side for us, seafood chowder was a little bit lite on the seafood, mostly a hunk of fish and potatoes, very little lobster. The scallops were more heavily than lightly fried. Tartar sauce was very good. Nice eating area by water. Maybe we caught them on an off day but we weren’t horrible impressed.
