This place is such a gem! We were sad when the place that used to be in this space closed, and when it reopened as The Grüv, we were cautiously optimistic. They have exceeded our expectations, big time! This is the best pizza I've ever had, anywhere! It is so tasty, and perfectly cooked, ever single time we go here, which is a lot. The salads are spectacular too. We recently had the beet and arugula salad which was great, and we've enjoyed every other one we've tried. A few weeks ago, we took a chance and tried the barbecue bao bun appetizer (how could a pizza place make good bao?) and it was incredibly delicious. Super nice people too! We love Taylor, the bartender, who always turns us on to the rotating seasonal drink specials. It's a beautiful space too, both the front and back rooms. Our favorite dinner spot in Belleville!
