Great spot in the desert 🌵. After a day of hiking in beautiful Joshua Tree, make your way to grnd sqrl for cool refreshments and delish snacks and full plates. Popular spot for good reason, gs has a welcoming vibe in the town of 29 Palms. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help you choose from the fine curated beer 🍺 list. Good food, drinks and service, the main downside was the live music was ridiculously loud. The singer had a great voice and the size of the venue it would have suited an acoustic performance. We were unable to talk unless it was between songs. Also not sure what was going on with the ventilation in this place but we walked out and all our clothes we wore to the restaurant stink of old cooking oil. 3/6/24: we (4) stopper here after our hike. Jaylin was friendly and efficient. The foods were very good, especially the fries. 1/28/23: our group (9 ppl) stopped by after a hike in the park. We arrived after the lunch rush, and were seated promptly. Friendly staffs, especially our server Katie. Food is constantly decent. I wish that they will have an outdoor seating area. Check this place out when you're in the area. 1/7/23: we stopped by after hearing from local friends. Nice service, interesting snacks and good selection of beers.
