I can’t say enough great things about Great American Cookie Co. Not only do their cookie cakes tasting amazing, York provides excellent customer service. His icing artistry is top notch and he’s incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend asking for York when you order your next cookie cake.
Had no idea what was available nor what my options were when I walked up. The staff were excellent in walking me through the offerings and what design they could do. Cookie is soft and delicious, the icing is not the whipped kind(I don't like the whipped kind) and is delicious as well! I asked for Sadness from Inside Out, without a picture for reference, to put on the cookie. I couldn't be more happier with the results! Thank you to the young women who helped us and made the experience awesome!
*Update* Me being the type of person that will give you a second chance. I gave this cookie spot another try. I knew they were expensive but thats not my gripe. My disgust was watching this man on the phone and applying lotion to his arms while making a cookie cake. When he finished he just wiped his hands in this rag and went back to decorating the cookie. Like WTH there has got to be requirements for food establishments and preparing food/cookies. It was one of the nastiest thing I've ever seen. No gloves, no hair not. It was just nasty. I looked at him the whole time he was rubbing oil/lotion on both arms, wipe hands in the rag and go back to work. We made eye contact and the disgust on my face didn't mean jack. He didn't quickly grab some gloves and put them on he act like everything he was doing was sanitary. I will never never ever ever buy cookies from this place again. Because if you are doing that heaven knows what else unsanitary thing your doing. Sorry for this being so long but I had to tell my experience.********************* 1st cookies are kinda expensive I bought 3 and it was something like 6 and some change. They weren't all the same size 1 was real small. It was early in the day that's why I don't understand why my cookies didn't taste all that great. Definitely on the hard side. Girl that waited on me had long fingernails and just used the bakery small sheets to pick up my cookies. I would hv liked it better if they wore gloves. Overall wasn't impressed.

My stepson was cookie cakes it’s the only kind of cake the his eat for his birthday. We have never had any issues and I said been traded great and our cakes on time

Two star experience for the taste and having completed in time. However, highly disappointed in the lack of customer service in regards to the requested custom order I placed. I inquired on the phone if they could make “tiger paws” and was told “oh yes”. However, when I picked it up, the young lady showed me the cookie cake only to find it without the simple design I requested. If they could not fulfill this request, they should’ve had the courtesy to at least call and ask if I wanted something else. I paid $37 for a custom cake and didn’t get the “custom” request. That’s unacceptable.
Not sure who was working when I placed an order for my $40 cookie cake on Dec 15th at 2:53pm, but they were rude and didn’t confirm any part of my order. I paid ahead of time pick up my cake on December 23rd. I come in to pick it up, she tells me she has already sold my cake, that I have already paid for. Horrible customer service, she didn’t apologize or try to make it up. Bad service! Just bad!
FINAL REVIEW: Owner contacted me and made things right. She’s really nice, but had some staff issues she was working through. Hopefully things are better now! UPDATE: Emailed corporate, per their reply to my review and got the following email: “We sincerely apologize for your dissatisfaction. Since branded locations are independently owned and operated, your concern is being sent directly to the franchise owner. Because you are important, you can expect a call or email from the franchise owner within the next three to four business days.” — It has been 11 days, or 7 business days, and I have not received any communication from the location owner. Checked their hours and drove nearly 30 minutes, only to find they were completely closed up and gone an hour before their posted closing time. I’ve had a bad experience with their employee being rude in the past as well. Not worth the effort to go.
Ordered a cookie cake to be picked up at 430 this evening. We showed up around 8 and the cake had not been decorated. The girl working there said there weren't any details on what I wanted on the cake. But on my receipt it has all of the details. I ended up with something I did not order. I'm highly disappointed to pay $40 for blobs of vanilla icing!!

I got the buy 10 get 3. I was already skeptical about getting them because some looked old. Got home tried a bite from one, omg so hard. Tried another, and you can definitely tell they were old. I went around noon so it wasn't near closing.

The woman who runs this store is incredible! She makes custom cakes for my family on Valentine’s Day, birthdays, Christmas, during football season and sometimes just when a craving strikes. She’s so accommodating and usually can get a delicious creation together in an hour or less! She’s professional, efficient and flexible and I’ve loved everything she’s ever done for us! If you’re looking for a drool-worthy custom cake she’s the one to call!
