We’ve become regulars here now and for a great reason. Do yourself a favor and go during week when advertised and try the 4 course for $30, cannot be beat and of course if you’re a Martini lover Thursday is your day. Great restaurant right next to Proctors Theatre. Went here before the show. Sat in back room which is much quieter than the front with the bar. Ask for back room if you want quiet. Service was excellent and staff efficient and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails, wine and entrees. Yummy, crusty bread too. Pictures are veal parm, veal medallions and chicken cattchitore. Went with 6 for a reservation on NYE. Food was good and pricing was great. Some dishes were kind of cold and could have been hotter but I understand it being a holiday. Service was great until our entrees which we waited over an hour for after our apps came. We then waited another 40 minutes for our check, making it a four hour dining experience. Fave spot! The menu has so many phenom choices id have to go back every week for months to try them all. Portions are fantastic and leave you full! Bread is fresh and hot. The meal is paced properly and we actually had time to pause between courses, they don’t rush you and just throw food at you. Everything was prepared perfectly and warm. Highly recommended! Myself, my husband and two other couples had reservations for six PM last evening for dinner before the show at Proctors. We arrived before six and were seated and the third couple arrived just after six. Drinks and appetizer orders were made as well as entrees at the same time. The appetizers came out in a timely manner although my husband and I did not get ours. Then the wait began. At 7:20 (the show begins at 8:00) I caught our servers eye and tapped my watch. She came over and told us that the order had gone in at 6:42 and would be out soon. At 7:30 we once again expressed our dismay and she informed us that an hour and a half was normal for a "show night" and that she had no idea when the food would come out but we could have it boxed up to which one of our party exclaimed "how can you box up what isn't there?" We told her we had been there several times on a show night and never had experienced such a delay. She then informed us that there was also a banquet in progress and that instead of 100 people there were 200. When one of us went to the front and asked to see a manger, we were informed there was no manager on duty. At 7:40 our server informed us the food would be out in five minutes and would we like it boxed. And do what with it was our reply. We then decided to simply leave with no dinner at which point one of us asked another waitress if there was a manager to which she replied "of course!" I'll get her. The end of this debacle is that they did not charge us for the drinks or the two appetizer but I assure you the waitress (whom I will not cast aspertions on) was well tipped. Let's just say we will not be going back before the next show. They have an obligation to make sure they can handle the volume they are taking on and not leave people in the lurch. This place was the best!!! Frank at the door was fantastic! We had Ari as our server. I couldn’t believe how amazing everything was from the drinks to the food and the timing! Hot and delicious food! This place has the vibe and food to back it up! The service was spectacular, the drinks were awesome! A little pricey but you get more than enough food and the quality backs up the price. Pasta was cooked to perfection. Good homemade food. I got the scallops and shrimp, shrimp a little over cooked, scallops cooked well but came in pieces, the white garlic sauce was very light. Bread was really good, homemade Bleu cheese dressing very good. Calamari was fresh but needed to be crispy. Charged for each soda and for white sauce on the pasta. Service was good.
