Having seen Sporting Park, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Many people come to order good spicy chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers and shrimp tacos. Granite City Food & Brewery is proud of tasty biscuits, Brezeln and waffles. Delicious craft beer, pale ale or Mimosas are among the best drinks to try. Clients don't like ice tea at this place. Food delivery is an important advantage of this spot. The cheerful staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The cool service is a big plus of this restaurant. Prices here are reported to be democratic. You will appreciate the modern decor and exotic atmosphere of Granite City Food & Brewery. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

Food was mediocre. Avocado grilled cheese was terrible - poorly constructed, way too much onion. Pot roast was bland. Burger was ok, but not cooked as requested. Cesar salad was good. Service was great. Food was hit and miss. Burgers good. Something like buffalo mac and cheese not so much. Order with blue cheese on the side or none. I had only one drip of buffalo and ranch and lots of blue cheese to the point it over powered everything. Burger my wife had was 5/5. Beer is to be expected of an establishment like this. Went on a Friday night. Had 730 reservations (not required but since it was Friday, figured better to be safe). We arrived around 710 and they were able to seat us early. Wait staff was friendly (shout out to Parker!), food was amazing (idaho noachos, bock mac and cheese, rib eye sandwich, and chocolate cake pictured), and i would 100% go back again. Atmosphere was warm, the ac was not blasting so it was quite comfortable temperature wise. I sat at the bar where the music was not overly loud, the bartender who was going to serve me was named Bella. She was vibing pretty well as she was singing along with most the songs that came on. Her notes were on key, so maybe a future at AGT or American Idol, but for now lets get back to the food. atmosphere a 8.7 I ordered a coffee, the Asian glazed shrimp, Grilled salmon and carrot cake. The coffee came out first and it was one of the worse coffees i have had in a long time. 3 out of 10. zero stars on their coffee. next was the appetizer. IF you are not a fan of onions make sure to ask for no onions as they do add green onions as Garnish and its not listed on the menu. The shrimp tasted amazing. They are listed as being spicy and they did have a little kick. they were seasoned and salted just right. They had a light coleslaw blend in the middle which did offer some balance to that tangy taste offered in the Asian sauce. be forwarned the slaw does have cilantro mixed in and if your like me you don't want that soapy taste. But everyone is different and Cilantro does not taste like soap to everyone. overall I rate the Asian Glazed shrimp an 8.5. Next came out the Grilled salmon. it came with Rice pilaf and asparagus. The rice pilaf was cooked just right and tasted amazing. there was a mix of bell peppers on onions I note this for anyone with an allergy as its not listed on the menu. 10. the asparagus was a little cold but did have the right amount of crisp and taste. 7.5 the salmon was a little dry but was easily overcome with the lemon wedges provided. 8.8 Next onto dessert the carrot cake taste phenomenal, it came with a caramel glaze that you could use to dunk your carrot cake into and I fully did. It could use a slight bit more salt but otherwise I give it a 9.5 as everyone's taste buds are different. the customer service received by bella was outstanding and the manager was quite friendly as well. overall minus a small hiccup with the menu and the kitchen I can say customer service was a hard 8. The price per person averages to about 28.00 non child and that includes main course item, drink and appetizer or dessert.
