If you want to remember Casa Rocca Piccola, come to this restaurant first. Spanish dishes are on the menu at Grain Street. To order nicely cooked lasagna, risotto and calamari is a really good idea. Tasty ice cream and good parfait may be what you need. Delicious wine is the most popular drinks of this place. Great coffee will make your meal tastier and you'll certainly come back. This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. At this restaurant, visitors can enjoy the cozy atmosphere and nice decor. Grain Street received the Bib Gourmand award for tasty meals at reasonable prices.

Delightful fine dining experience. Food was so delicious!! Especially pumpkin risotto and grilled cabbage leaves. Service was lovely and professional. Thank you, we already thinking to come soon again for that wonderful risotto. Thing I would like to point out is that front door. It was quite chilly to sit inside as the door was open often. Also at least one table is extra in lounge area opposite the bar. Too much people sitting close to each other, is even uncomfortable to have a conversation without feeling awkward. Despite a casual version of the michelin star restaurant this spot could deserve their own star too. The service and food was definitely 5 star with prices that was reasonable. The tasting menu was amazing but wine pairing wise was average. Do note that the reasonable price could be one of the reason for the wine. Grain Street is a great restaurant. Let's not forget that it was chosen by the Michelin guide as one of the best of 2023 in Malta! Quality food is served à la carte or via tasting menus with different possibilities of choice. Each dish is taken care of down to the smallest detail by the chef and the dining room staff is very courteous and helpful. The meat was cooked to perfection and the pasta, a real delicacy! And what about the pig ears and fried lasagnette taken as appetizers? Delicious! To conclude, don't forget to order at least one of the desserts! Personally I tasted the millefeuille with the ice cream trio (chocolate, piatacchio and vanilla). I highly recommend it!!!!! We went to the Grain street for lunch with my friend and it was delicious, I wrote a review with 5 stars, everything was amazing. Last week we decided to go for breakfast and I was disappointed. I understand that breakfast dishes are not as fan as lunch or dinner, but believe me it can also look and taste amazing! Our breakfast was something super average, looked average, tasted average. We waited more then 10 min for our coffee even though there were hardly any tables. My dish was omelette with smoked eel, I asked to put eel on a side and I was sure that there will be pieces of eel, when in reality there was some eel spread that to me did not taste like eel at all. I would still recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner, however, there are much better choices for breakfast. This restaurant is a Michelin Bib Gourmand, which means you can get very high quality prepared plates for a reasonable price. It’s one of the three places of Grain all in the same building: the Under Grain which is a one Michelin star restaurant and the Over Grain rooftop bar. The service if very professional, friendly, smiling and warm. The table settings are beautiful and classy. Now the food: we had the carte blanche surprise sharing tasting menu and we were positively surprised in general by the quality and quantities. The home made Fetira bread was nice to eat with the anchovies tuna based spread and the extra vergin olive oil. The cheese based fried balls were delicious. The vegetarian risotto and duck based macaroni based entrees were excellent. First main plate was fish based, very well cooked and seasoned. The best plate of the dinner in my opinion was the aged veal with fried onions and mushrooms, with additional mushrooms on stick and potato sides. The dessert was good but was the least pleasant plate to my taste both in terms of quantity and type of ingredients used: it was mostly ice cream rather than an original sweat based dessert with ice cream on the side. The red wine was excellent. The whole experience was exceptional. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Brilliant spot for lunch out on the street in their own covered area in the pedestrianised zone. Great views up and down the street to watch the world go by. The food was excellent and flavourful, and the service was quick and attentive. For a restaurant with such high reviews, the prices of the dishes are very reasonable for the quality of the food served. Highly recommend! Tasting Menu & Sommelier Experience rendered us speechless, stuffed and suitably sozzled… The experience of having the chef choose for us was a delight and we savoured every mouthful of every dish. Being gluten free didn’t mean missing out on anything for me (even the bread course - which was doughy and crusty all at once! So rare) and they did everything normal for my non-gluten intolerant boyfriend. Having dietary requirements wasn’t made a big deal of/like an inconvenience - painless in the extreme! And everything was so delicious and well thought out in terms of courses and wines. The service was IMPECCABLE - thank you to everyone who made us feel so looked after and special across the entire evening. How this doesn’t have a Michelin Star yet is beyond me - but don’t wait till it does to go, a heavenly treat to take advantage the first opportunity you can! We had a lovely Christmas eve dinner at Green Street, right in the heart of old town Valletta. The service was friendly, but a bit nonchalant: they forgot to take our coats and couldn't recommend a local liqueur when we asked for one. The meal consisted of a three course Christmas dinner. The courses were very tasty and presented with care. However they came too quickly: we had just nipped from our (excellent, but expensive) cocktail and there came the waiter with our first course. And this upbeat tempo persisted throughout the evening. A bit more time between the courses would have been niece. Now we felt somewhat rushed. The restaurant itself is very stylish with a beautiful bar. Sadly the barman served my Don Papa rum with ice, without asking me. I never take ice in my rum and really consider this to be a faux pas.
