Good food. I enjoyed the vegetarian stuffed capsicum, it was a bit different to the usual vegetarian dishes. They serve generous size meals. Staff were friendly. It was a bit noisy, although there was a big group. Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We stopped in for lunch. Thank god we only ordered 1 order of ribs to split! The portion easily fed us both, with chips and onion rings as accompaniment’s. There is a decent beer and drinks selection. You order at the bar and grab your own cutlery and condiments. The staff were. Very pleasant and helpful. Sit outside and you’ll get an ok harbour view. Grace O'Malley's Irish Inn in Whitianga is a lively spot with a fantastic atmosphere. The food is delicious – tried pizzas, Thai beef salad, and ribs. The sauces on the food were a tad sweet for my liking, but it's perfect for kids. Great location just across from the waterfront and playground. After dinner, a stroll along the waterfront is a must. Food was good but the least I expected from an pub saying they were an Irish pub was that they would know how to pull a pint of Guinness. Imagine my horror as the beautiful pint glass was half filled and then banged on the counter. When asked why they were doing that it was to get the bubbles out. Went here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs which were really good and delicious. The portion was very generous with a lot of ribs. This dish was very good value for money at $31. Delicious meals, great atmosphere, hard working team. The manager John is so lovely; managed to fit a group of 11 in during a busy time and we didn’t wait long at all for our meals. Biggest meals we have ever had. Waiter said no one goes home hungry and he wasn't kidding ! Great value for the money. We had ribs and fish and chips. The terakihi was delicious. White, moist and a lovely light crispy batter. The ribs were plentiful, my husband finished them but couldn't manage all of the chips as there were such a lot of ribs.
