I went with hopes of getting the smothered pork chops and yams but they were all sold out. The sooner you get there the better! I did have chicken spaghetti, fried corn and black eye peas. Everything was good and the young man at the counter was so sweet and friendly! I will be going back and recommend others to try them out! Sorry, Granny. Their fried chicken is waaaaaay better than yours! I grabbed a plate lunch to go today (there is no sit-down dining) for the first time and I'm so stuffed I need a nap. The young man at the register was helpful, and with my change I got a sticky note saying, "People don't determine your destiny, God does." My meal was $10.71 including tax, and the styrofoam container must have weighed 5 pounds. I ordered fried chicken...they gave me 3 pieces!!, mac & cheese, and yams. DELICIOUS! It is important to note that I tried to go around 12:30 a couple of weeks ago and they had sold out of every stitch of food. I got there at 11:20 today and had my pick. Better get there early! Only in town a few days so I hopped on Google checking for local soul food and ran across this spot. I was impressed walking in, my service was bomb, shout out to the young man with that beautiful smile, and my food melted in my mouth... My parents recently came home with SO MUCH AMAZING FOOD and the sweetest post it notes from this place. They were saying that it’s a whole family that works together to provide phenomenal food and services for Tupelo folks. I had to check it out for myself today— and it blew me away! If you have trouble finding it, it’s in between the tobacco store on main and Harbor Freight. Soooo worth a stop!

Goodness Gracious! The food is outta this world great!!! I would say like my momma's cooking but I'd be lying cause sorry Mom but it's even better than moms cooking and Granny's too! We had pork chops and gravy and the meat was fall off the bone tender and the gravy...! Been eating brown gravy all my life and never had it this good! Had black eyed peas and Mac and cheese and the peas and the fried okra were home cooked with a flavor like your grandmother cooked them and m/c wasn't from a box definitely fresh cooked and delicious! The lasagna was home cooked, no Ms. Stoffers here! Tasted great! Now... The Tuscan chicken.. Man, that stuff was just fantastic, that's the only way to describe it! The sauce on it was creamy and delicious but not too heavy! That's enough about the food, y'all get it. The people were super nice and the service was fast and friendly. We talked to the owner and she was just one of the nicest and most humble people you'll ever meet. Y'all this is a must if you're in tupelo! GOODNESS GRACIOUS is truly the only thing needed saying about this place. Family is what this place oozes. Some of the best food and people both I have ever seen. Right at home is how you feel when go in. There are just not enough good things that could be said about this place. Thank y’all for all the closing time extras and WE WILL FOR SURE BE BACK.
