Ordered three dishes. The sweet and sour pork was disappointing—the meat didn't seem fresh, had a strong pork smell, and was kinda chewy in parts. The potato leaves were alright, but lacked that tasty wok hei flavor. The minced pork egg was quite big, but the taste was just average. I doubt I'll return for more.

Really love the food here, especially their signature Buttermilk Crab. The best I have ever tasted! Kam Heong is also really good. The place is so cozy with great service by the waiters. Definitely will come here again next time!

尋找已久的味道！The MSG… fuiyoh! It’s been awhile that we get to taste such good Chinese food around this area and it’s undoubtedly the best. It brings back my childhood memories of how food tasted. So much wok hei! Prices is considerably affordable. Please be mindful of the long wait if you are there on peak hours.
First time we had lunch during CNY. They only served pre-set menu starts from RM288, 388, 488 something like that.
Second time and later attempts for their standard foods menu and street foods dishes.
Good portions, food could be better. Service ~ so so (if you don't order drinks, they might show face. Many people they don't drink tea, coffee or soft drink even it's quite a common they don't take plain water too due to personal reason) Service is the cornerstone of a great restaurant experience. Uncle is OK but a women is sometimes polite sometimes not , depends on her mood I think !
●Hokkien mee ~ they used thin noodles, preferably thicker noodle.
●Claypot fish curry ~ average only, maybe we have higher expectations due to lack of fragrance and flavour taste.
●Fish meat and bitter gourd vermicelli soup ~ not bad.
●Homemade fish fillets taste salty.
●Pork chop slide OK.
They can accommodate to your requirements eg: less salty and less oily which they follow as per instruction.
Overall okay only ! as they are many good restaurants, if experience isn't up to expectations, can always try for other. Hoping they can take all the reviews and improve it sincerely . This is way to keep the loyalty, return and new customers !

We recently discovered that their claypot braised pork trotter with tendon is one of the town's finest. The steamed red snapper is incredibly fresh, while the potato leaf appears to be lacking in flavor. The fried squid tastes average. Without a doubt, we will return specifically for their delicious pork trotter after they move to bigger new place just around the area. Looking forward for their new environment.

Red Snapper
One of our favorite places for great tasting chinese food. One of the best hokkien mee around. Another great dish is their "Wet style" butter mantis prawns. Prices are very reasonable for the portions given. Owner is very amiable too. Highly recommended.

Waitress said we need to wait for 45min and above because they cook one by one based on the table (queue). However we ended up waited for 1 and a half hour, from 8pm - 9.30pm (roughly), which is more than what we expected.
Consider that my 90+ grandma also waited this long, my mom decided to buy some chicken wings from outside to eat first🍗
5 of us, we ordered 4 simple dishes only, don't get it why need to wait for so long. When the food arrived, we all felt and agreed that it tastes just okok only (mamateh), nothing special.
And it costed RM134.50..... speechless
I don't get it why we wasted so much time, energy and money for all of these. Anyways, thank God for my veli veli patient dad for making the positive and lively atmosphere
I also don't get it why they still accept so many customers to come in when the kitchen is ady super duper slow in cooking
You could have done better, for example:
1. Tell the customer more exact estimation of the time they need to wait, e.g. 1hr and more
2. Warn (avoid) more customer to come in if they can't wait for so long
3. Give some snacks for customers especially when there's old people or little kids
4. Cook all together if there's 2 or more table order the same dishes, so that the customer can start eating while waiting for the rest of the dishes to come

This is the 5th time had bring my family here for dinner. I am always pleased at the dishes served and the portion of food recommended are good. They serve day to day dishes, and are good with seafood and their own specialty signature dish.
One occasion I bought 12 people for a good sumptuous meal. I’m pleased that their cooking is not disappointing as my guest are all enjoying the good meal. Recommended for family and small group of friends for dinner.
The food taste & quality are always great. I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been visiting this place for the last 5 years, not a perfect spot than this & ladyboss is very nice and friendly.
