Stopped in for mid afternoon snack. Had the fried squid, fried fish bites, fried cheese balls. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for seafood. The menu looked amazing too.

Top Notch Seafood. Everything was outstanding. Great place to eat. Only complaint Do not and I repeat Do not go on the beach. The sand Flea and no see em bugs are the worst I ever seen. OMG we all got bit up so bad.

VERY DISSAPOINTED. I was very excited to eat here after reading reviews. The service was TERRIBLE. I ordered the whole snapper ($65 not expensive) it came covered in raw onions and thr fish had No flavor (we waited almost 2 hours for the dish) we were starving at that point. In between the 2 hour wait, no one replenished our water/drinks, Never recheived napkins or side plates, and when the fish finally came, we were so hungry we started eating the top layer of fish, as soon as we got to the fish touching the plate it tasted like straight SOAP. I think the plate still had soap on it from the washer. The onions were also very overpowering (and I love onions.) We were VERY DISAPPOINTED. We sent the fish back and told the manager that the fish tasted like soap, He offered a 10% discount 😂 Take your business elsewhere. Asia Italy is better and Carbon Pollo is also better option with water front dining and MUCH better service. I understand island time, and thats fine, but to order food that tatstes like soap, NOT OK. I still have a soap taste in my mouth, YUCK!

Our server was Keyla and she is amazing.
All the dishes came out good and without mistakes.

Gonzalez’s Seafood Restaurant is FANTASTIC! If you’re looking for excellent service, savory food, and great atmosphere - JUST GET THERE!! The restaurant is right by the water and had great views of the sunset. An absolutely wonderful restaurant!

Their bread paired with their home stew marked the beginning of an exceptional culinary journey for me. The menu was impressively diverse, and I couldn't help but notice “banging” dishes circulating that I cant wait to try on my next visit – and trust me, there will be one!
As for my choice, I went for the cazuela de mariscos. Picture a seafood stew in a heavy red sauce, served on a bed of Mofongo – it was a banging! The venue leans toward an upscale theme, so I highly recommend dressing nicely and casually to align with the sophisticated atmosphere. Take it from me, arriving in swimming trunks and a sweaty shirt isn't the best fashion choice. Nevertheless, my experience at this establishment was superb, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to the Island. The service was a little slow but I wasn’t in a rush.
