The only take away pizza for our family,when we go to East London. So we had a year skip and went about the 15th November. How disappointing. We ordered 30 minutes in advance. Mine:3 cheese&extra bacon+pineapple+mushrooms. Mushrooms. All extras nearly non existant. Hubby and son had the meaty with extras, not any better. The thin crust(always!) was dry and very thin. It was a shock, as we do our best to promote Roman's Pizza, especially in Kings Mall. Ordered by phone. Wanted thick based but they were "out of " thick bases. With eyes closed you won't know if you're having Ham or pineapple,(supposedly "Hawaiian") except for when you accidentally bite a on piece. The cheese was also tasteless and we were very disappointed, as we lòve Roman's. I asked the boxes be marked and there was a boo-boo. Service is slow. We ordered, went to pick up 30 minutes later and had to wait nearly 30 more minutes. We don't do pizzas anywhere else and haven't for years already....sorry, but the last 3 times is a no-no. The service is good but they are slow they are giving warm coldrinks to customers i order at 19:31 and it is 20:00 now more then 15min.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Really bad service we received tonight. We waited over 40 minutes inside the shop were I was told 20 minutes. After they were talking loudly inside the shop about my order in isixhosa (not knowing that I understand what they are saying) I decided to complain about my pizza taking long. I was so cross inside the shop that I never even checked my pizza's. When I got home I opened my box and received pizza looking like this. 11 months ago Roman's in Cambridge sent me pizza like this and now Gonubie as well. The pizza was AMAZING as always, but the staff was also very friendly and were very helpful. It's like going to family for a good meal and smiles after a long day 😃

Not too bad. Waited a little bit too long. I must say, Roman's Pizza has really surprised me. I haven't had their pizza for years. Last time I ate it was when the second pizza was for free. Was too oily then. Big improvement. Big ups
