Ordered a Oolong Milk Tea and a Taro Smoothie today. The pearls aren't too sweet and we always get our milk teas with little to no added sweetness, overall they did a really good job 👍. When we entered the boba shop we used the order terminal and the order was sent to the employees behind the counter, you can order with them in person too. It is nice to have the option though if you don't feel like interacting. A decent tea place given they have a lot of locations around SoCal. I think the tea is quite light compared to many places and you can feel it even more when ordering less sweet. Basil seed is worth adding if you prefer healthier options. Snacks were pretty good. I had the new mochi nuggets which came in 3 flavors. All of them are pretty good if you like sweets. I went last night craving for some black sugar milk boba. Love their bobas, except I feel the price is too high. Their large black sugar milk tea with boba topping was a whopping $8+ with tax, which is about the price of a meal. I'm still going to try my recipe next time. Gong Cha is a great little place for filling your boba cravings. Their tea selection is solid, they have a lot of variety that isn't found in other bubble tea shops, and they have hot food appetizers. The service is smiley and friendly, always willing to help a newbie out, and they make great recommendations. I can personally recommend the Milk Tea with 3J, strawberry milk foam with green tea, lemon juice with ai-yu and white pearl (insanely refreshing!), mango smoothie, and taro smoothie. Their add-in game is probably the best in the Cerritos/Artesia area, honestly. They're generous with their helpings of fresh boba, refreshing herbal jelly, and delicious pudding. (Bonus points: the pudding is soft and very easy to slurp up with a straw, unlike some places, which use firm pudding blocks that free-float in their drinks.) In fact, if Gong Cha has a weakness, it's that. They have such good add-ins that you need more drink in order to get them. So do yourself a favor... Just order a large. Bottom line? You can't go wrong coming here, but you'll definitely miss out if you don't.

I usually go to OC source location but me and my friend bumped into this location on the way home the other day. Lately i get my milk tea sweeter then usual. I get 70% sugar and 25% ice. Usually i don't notice much of a difference. But this location made it super sweet and i loved it. 😍 it was so yummy and i love the set up they have. At night it feels so relaxing.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY Free drink (up to $5.50) for Fivestars customers Solid boba tea/coffee shop in the area. For my birthday month drink, I decided upon the wintermelon tea, easy sweet/ice. The drink was refreshing on a warm August night. What sets Gong Cha apart from their competitors is that they are open late, till 11pm (11:30pm Fri-Sat). Besides indoor seating, Gong Cha also has al fresco seating, complete with fake grass & music to vibe to. Gong Cha is located next to a donut shop, with parking readily available. Gong Cha quenches my thirst every time my birthday month comes up. They pump out respectable drinks, and I think I'll order one of their London Fog drinks, next time I come around. We got the brown sugar milk tea and the pearl milk tea. I was told they don’t contain dairy (?) so that’s cool if true but I was a little confused. Anyway they were both really delicious- boba itself was really good too. Really mellow flavors, nothing too crazy.

I was feeling pretty angry after a long drive from LA, was not in the mood for another stop, but the group insisted. Begrudgingly ordered a royal Thai tea with white pearls, and BAM! Once I took a sip my mood did a complete 180. It was an amazing full bodied flavor, way better than I expected, thanks Gong Cha for making my day better.
